    I've a bharat gas connection with consumer no. 37137 at Bangalore.
    On 25th Dec 2010, when my completed cylinder was replaced with a new one it started leaking at distributor joint.

    1. I immediately stopped cooking and tried calling Emergency Service Centre at Bangalore as it was a holiday. One Mr. Murali promised action within 1 hour and nothing happened. Again I have called them on 26th and a promise of action within 10 min was made. But nothing happened.

    2. I called the distributor Rashmi Gas agency at Bangalore and they said they will send a mechanic within an hour but after 6 follow up calls they said at 6.30PM that the mechanic will come my home even if it is at 10PM. Shockingly no one came.

    3. I called the person (Babu:9535494531) who gives me the gas and asked him to replace the cylinder on 1st Jan. He promised me he can do it on 2nd at 9AM. then the time keeps changed by him to 11AM to 2PM to 5 PM at last he stopped picking my 9th call onwards!

    4. I wrote in ebharatgas website in "talk to us" feedback section without loging in. but nothing has happened. now this is second time after login.

    5. I tried calling the Bangalore LPG Territory manager but Mr. Ramesh was giving a voice message to contact Ph no. 22975459.

    6. I called Cutomer care no. 22975459 at MG road Bangalore on 3rd Jan and no one picks the call.

    7. I called Regional office Chennai and no one picks the call there too. I will still try again.

    8. Last try was to HQ at Pune but shockingly no one picks my call there also.

    Even today I tried calling my distributor but their 2 ph are damaged and 2 are switched off and the rest one is always engaged.

    So now I'm not cooking food at home for 10 days.
    I can manage our food from hotel but i have a kid of 1.5 yrs and he is starving most of the dates. Now I have only God to escalate the issue.

    Question all non-govt rules are deployed in bharat gas.

    i am posting you the talk between me and bharat gas. all non-govt rules are deployed in bharat gas.


    1. Late delivery of gas.
      2. they force to deliver after 36 dats of last refilled cylinder delivery.
      3. every year coz of this i was forced to buy refilled cylinder from outside with black rate.

      Thank you for answering my phone call. I am a regular customer for Bharat Gas. I have a domestic Gas connection to my home. Consumer number: 16865 (In the name of my wife "USHA G")Contact number: 9845232932. Agency: Bhavani Bharath Gas Distributor (No.15,Muneshwara Farm,Pantharapalya,Off Ring Road,Mysore. Road,Bangalore-560030)

      i have few complains regarding the service provided by Bhavani Gas distributor.

      1. i have booked for refilling cylinder on 9th Oct, 2010 via online with reference number "3717150". Refilled cylinder is not delivered to me till (20th Oct, 2010 14:30), but online status says it is being delivered to meon 18th Oct, 2010When i called to Bhavani distributor, they replied it may take one more day to deliver the cylinder.

      2. When a delivery boy delivers the refilled cylinder at my home they demand 15/20 rupees extra, May i know what isthe purpose of this.

      3.Once Cylinder is booked, they say to deliver after 10 days.once cylinder is delivered they say after 30 days only you can book another cylinder(i believe this rule was passed by central Govt. in 2005 for emergency case where there was a emergency shortageof gas and the rule is already expired)This means overall 40 days they need to deliver one more refilled cylinder.

      4.Once i had problem with Gas pipe leakage / regulator issue, Gas was getting leek from cylinder, i asked them to replace it as it might create issue and they asked me to depositanother 500 rupees to get it replace.

      5. While taking new connection, they force to take unwanted products with the new connection...e.g (6 packets oil / pressure cooker / gas stove / Iron box / hot case etc...)

      They name it as an offer, without which we can't take connection and the price of offered things are 3 times more than the out side market. Most interesting part of it is they don't give bill for that. At the moment I needed gas connection, i have paid Rs. 3,500/- for single cylinder and another Rs. 2000/ for second cylinder But receipt given to me is only around Rs. 1500/- My request you to go into the deep investigation to deal with these customer issues. Else definitely i will close my relationship with "Bharat Gas". Else please help me to change Distributor Agency, who can provide me tension free service. The situation has forced me to go for consumer court (irrespective of win or loose).

      We are facing some technical problem because of which delivery date, actual and system is not matching when it is thru net. There are no delivery charges. We regret the inconvenience caused to you. We had advised the distributor suitable. There is no cap for booking. Kindly register yourself for SMS booking at distributorship. It will reduce and manual intervention for the same. In case of any leakage, if it is because of cylinder defect customer is not required to pay. In case of any extra demand, kindly let us know on 080 22975459. You can also inform any leakage complaint to emergency helpline 08026481712 during night time or holidays. In case of leakage is because of LPG Pipe, kindly make a payment and get it replaced from Suraksha, for that proper receipt will be given from distributor. BPCL is marketing household products thru distributorships but is not mandatory for the customer to purchase. We deeply regret the inconvenience caused to you. We are looking into the matter. Meanwhile we had

      Thank you for your valuable time to look in to this issue.

      1. Did you inform the same to distributor (there is no extra charge for delivery of refilling cylinder)?

      coz on 20th Oct when delivery boy named "Jagdeesh" delivered refilled cylinder was screaming, asking

      they don't deliver refilled cylinder to any one before 30 days. I was not there at home, so he was asking

      my wife to give more than the billed amount.

      According to him rules are :

      a. If i stay ground floor 10 rupees extra (He collected 370/- instead of 360.57).

      b. If i stay 1st floor 15 rupees extra.

      c. If i stay 2nd floor 20 rupees extra.

      As a customer can i expect from Bharat Gas Company to inform the distributor not to collect this amount if

      it is out of rule.

      2. Did the distributor know that there is no such rule to book refilling cylinder after 30 days of previous

      delivery? If so why they demand out of rule bookings.

      When we call for booking refilling cylinder they don't book that day. Infact they deliver after 40 days and

      they make bill date as 30 days after previous refilling cylinder delivery.

      Coz.. of this issue inspite of having 2 cylinder connection, i don't have backup cylinder now at home.

      During night if the cylinder gets over, i have to go for buying gas in black out side distributors. in last 10

      months i bought 3 cylinders in black from outside inspite of having 2 cylinder connection coz.... they

      delivered me refilled cylinder in a gap of 40 or more days everytime.

      Refilled cylinder delivered this year

      1st - 16th Jan, 2010

      after 40 days 2nd - 26th Feb, 2010

      after 41 days 3rd - 7th Apr, 2010

      after 49 days 4th - 26th May, 2010

      after 56 days 5th - 22nd July, 2010

      after 46 days 6th - 28th Aug, 2010

      after 32 days 7th - 30th Sep, 2010

      after 19 days 8th - 20th Oct, 2010 (you informed them to deliver so within 20 days they delivered)

      If the gas is available in black out side, that means ther is no shortage of gas in our country. Please help

      me.

      3. 2500/- has collected at the time of taking new connection and 2000/- while booking for 2nd cylinder.

      They didn't accept that time to give new connection for 2 cylinders. Is it the actual price i paid at the time

      of new booking?

      4. I booked to refill cyliinder on 23rd Oct, 2010 referrence number 3984223, till now i didn't hear any thing.

      When can i hear any update from distributor.

      Also I booked my mobile number for SMS Booking, Please let me know what is the process like how i can

      book through SMS and code.

      Please help.....

      I will be grateful if you fix my meeting appointment with the distributor (Bhavani Bharatgas Distributor) with

      you and expected investigation officers. Where i want to put forward these points with them, so that they

      should not cheat customer like this and force customer indirectly to become unhappy and close account

      and move to other agencies.

      Today called to Bhavani distributor to book refill gas. Again they are argueing the same old non rull book

      story like we cant book before 30 days.

      if this the case plz guide me... i want to disconnect bharat gas customership.

      I have booked to refill cylinder on 8th August, 2011 with referrence id : 11463065 via SMS.

      Till now i have not received the refilled cylinder, Can i seek help / guidance how to avoid this type of

      issues?

      Neither any phone numbers are working nor any one is picking up the phone, I called up "Nagraj Rao

      Gaekoward" from Bhavani bharat gas number (9448259856), as per his information the cylinder was

      suppose to deliver by 7 days. Now its more than 8 days, didn't receive any.

      Please help

      Hi Satwant Singh,

      I am a frustrated consumer of Bharat gas bangalore. I have more than 50 consumers who are all

      frustrated with Bharat gas service in Nagarbhavi Area Bangalore. you can see the escalations below, we

      would like to change the gas connection to Indane gas bangalore for Nagarbhavi Area. So its my request

      can you provide us the procedure, so that we can have connection of Indane gas ASAP. Please provide

      us the ETA for new Indane gas connection. So that we will disconnect the Bharag gas connection and

      connect to new Indane gas connections.
