Dear Sir,
Please note my HDFC Bank harreses me for recovery and sealed my Bank a/c Debit
Card without any notice. Informed me 20 -22 days latter , where it has
deposited about Rs.2,15,000 still there.
Kindly guide me what to do?

This is in reference to letter received from you on 28th Nov.2007. Regarding
the blocking of my S/B A/C No. 3981530000411, my Fixed Deposit & my debit Card.
And nothing was informed me earlier before 28th Nov. even I visited twice
earlier to Bank.
I notice that the above a/c was blocked 22 days before.
Was it not the duty of Bank to inform immediately to the customer the day it
was blocked?
1st It is fault of bank to inform so late. I would have been alert if they
informed when 1st deposit done.
2ndly the bank should have inquired from the branch where the transaction took
place.
3rdly when I came to know on 28th Nov. From the Branch Manager Rita Vaz that
Credited done from two different places, it strike in my mind latter that why
bank hiding its in house culprits & blaming the innocent customers.
4thly such transition can be possible by involvement of any senior bank staff
member only.
Why don’t you catch the Bank staff that did such work?
I request the Bank Head office to inquire in details & find out such Bank
staffs that are involved in such transaction & suspend the staff doing such
work.
Then question arise why the harassment to normal good customer who is innocent
and don’t know how his friend made arrangement to pay back the dues.
What is the fault of good Customer whose a/c is credited by some one from whom
he has to take the money?
Even if I know any thing wrong in deposit I would not made Fix in Bank.
I have given loan thru bank payment to help my friends and he paid me back
thru bank only.

This with reference to your letter dated 3rd Dec2007. Regarding stating that
you have sent a letter to me on 6th Nov. which is a wrong Statement given by
your Branch Manager in writing. When I came to your Malad Branch on 1st Dec.
2007 & I have given in writing that till 29 Nov.2007 no one informed me any
thing. Me.Rita Vaz who is senior Branch Manager call Tanaj Madam to inquire
about any thing informed earlier to Mr. Mehta. She was on 3rd Table
and Ms. Rita Madam gone to her table and asked her. I saw from my eyes she
refused that she did not inform any thing. But latter on Rita Madam say we might
have sent you thru courier. We don’t expect such a big lie from Senior Branch
Manager to save their own skin. I told call Tanaj Madam inquire in front of me,
but she did not do it.
2ndly I told her that I am going out of station on 2nd Dec., so I submitted
the letter on 1st Dec. But luckily or unluckily my visit is postpone. She sent
me this letter . And I am reply to your letter dated 3rd Dec. That we Customers
are not happy with the working of HDFC Bank.
Frankly we can say No letter was issued from your HDFC Bank-Malad Branch on
6th Nov. Where it is dispatched ? what was Docket No.? & which Courier was
used. ? If it is there you could have shown me on 1st Dec.2007. When I was there
in your Bank at 10.0am.
3rdly I have given the details in my latter dated 30th Nov. that I paid the
amount thru Bank and received thru bank.
4th Sr. staff hides many such mistakes because poor customer will not know any
thing.
Top Manager level Sr. will listen to the branch Manager or Sr. Staff members
only.
Boss never be wrong! Detaining Customers is the fault but I was detained more
then ¾ th hr to one hr both time (29th & 1st Dec) even I told Ms. Rita Madam I
am getting late. Pl sign on paper after reading & give me. Now who is at fault?
5th If I knew earlier I would not have kept as Fixed deposit. This is my plus
point.
6th It is duty of Bank to inform customer when 1st transfer took place.
It means bank staffs were sleeping till 29th Nov.2007.
7th Bank should have informed with in 24 hr. after stopping the a/c. (in
writing)
Which Bank fails to do it and blaming customer & informed 20/22 Days latter
(on 29th Nov.) 1st time
I again say very firmly that no one had informed me before 29th Nov.2007
(09.30 am) when Ms. Rita hand over the type documents to me.
Now I decided to give this case to media and advocate that I am being harassed
even I Co-operate with bank.
They don’t want to find out the mistake from the branch that made such
transfer.
Without inner man/ Temporary staff help it is not possible. Why to stop the
payment without any information.
Bank should have inquired first from internal sources. Where & how this
mistake occurred?
It is Bank prestige & other Customers will loose confidence in you.

Now again I request you to activate my account and keep all money in Fixed
deposit for 2yrs. If you find I am at fault the money is with you.
But if you find that it is mistake of your bank Branch/ people, who did this
transfer & please collect from them and oblige.
I request Head office to look in the matter urgently before it is too late &
any big amount loss by bank.

I have booked cylinder on 18/8/07 with reference no. 6243 from Yadu
Gas ,Ghaziabad. I have gone to there office multiple times. Every time
they give a date and say they have sent a letter. but i have not
recived any letter from them.
When i visited there. The lady sitting there does not even speak
polietly. She is in a perception that she is God.
I will advise a News agency for a sting operation here.
It is really horrible taking cylinder in black and they are charging
high premium on this.
I am suffering since i have applied from Yadu gas.
IOCL should take immidiate action against Yadu Gas. As with
unsatisfied customer IOCL cannot grow.
Pls. correct your philosofy and make it " Customer first
