Complaint Against Axis Bank Chittoor-ekm Branch, Cochin

I had a personal loan(PP0810100088253) from Axis Bank Chittoor-ekm Branch, Cochin, which I closed on 21st October 2011. But, on November 2nd 2011, Rs. 2809 was deducted from my account as an EMI for the loan by Axis Bank (ECS DR/TP Axis Bank Ltd /200 ). I contacted Axis Bank directly and they informed me that the settled loan accounts are closed by Chennai Collection Department. There, I was provided the proper information and they made it clear that they should receive an E-mail or intimation from the Manager of Chennai Collection Department to process a refund. A committed employee (name: Praveen) in the Axis Bank Chittoor-ekm Branch, Cochin, called up the Chennai Manager whose name is Ranjit John (Phone: 09841033594). I talked with the adoment Chennai Manager. Let me quote what he said: "All that we can do is a refund. You need not talk much, just here what I say. Dont' argue with me. Come after 3 days and collect the DD"...all these things happened on 6th Nov, 2011.

But I did not get any call or E-mail from the Bank

On 3rd December I went to the bank and they said they did not get any intimation from the so called Chennai Manager. I called up him and what he said is:"Oh, we closed the account on 10th Nov itself. But, I forgot to send an E-mail to process the refund", which was actually an irresponsible reply. I think he is not committed to the job.

Even after closing the personal loan, money had been taken from my account without my knowledge which is actually a fraudulant strategy, a crime....The one responsible for this issue is Ranjit John (Phone: 09841033594). He is definitely a shame to the bank.

**please give me more information so that I can register a proper compliant (hard copies of the statements)...
