Default blank cheques taken by bank -please help!

    Dear sir !
In 2008 and 2007 i have availed a ( preapproved personal loan ) for seven lakhs.
I have paid 2.50 lakh for a loan 5 lakh ,upto last july 2008
finaly they offered a loan of 2.40 lakh and i paid 40.000 upto july
    2008.
0n 2008 july i had my first heart attack ( i have hospital records to prove)
subseuently i had a stroke and was admitteed to manipal hospital (have records to
    proove )

in month augest 2007, i got another heart attack, was admited in
st johns hospital- i was subsquently discharged from the hospital and they advised
me take six months rest. And be ready for a bypass -- and mean time i was asked to
remain in bed and not to strain myself
    ..
Realising my responsibility i asked my friend a lawer to intimate the bank through a
notice that i require six months to continue theloan repayment ( attaching all
    hospital records )

my nightmare started, when bank upon recving my notice presented
one blank cheques knowing that my account
had no money( monies were spent for hospitalisation )

even after reciving the notice from the bank lawyers ( at that time i was bed
ridden as per the doctors advice ) i could not do anything.

Now i noted- that the bank has 18 blank cheques and they can do anything to me.

Luckly i have all zerox copies of the blank cheques and that time the cheques for
    foceibly taken from me .
I some how managed to take zerox of the blank cheques.

Even though, i itimated in advance to bank they bounced one cheque.
I am now out on bail,

please, i worring about the blank cheques - i want file case in consumer court to
claim damages for harressing me.from time to time.

Please advice me what action i can take ?

Awaiting your reply at the earliest.

    Dear Mr. Raj,

If you want to file a case in consumer forum, you will have to visit the consumer forum and have to process for the case filing. Hiring a lawyer is not mendatory there. You can get the complaint format from your nearest consumer forum, which is required to mention your complaint for case filing. The Jurisdiction of the Consumer Forum will be according to the address of Opposite Party. You can get the information regarding court fee from there but the fee can be paid through a Postal Order or a DD in Favour of President of Distt. Forum.

    Good Luck
