I am going through a similiar harassment case from HSBC. I was offered a TATA AIG Policy, only difference is I agreed for it, but they charged me 6 premium amounts in a span of 30days. I kept calling the bank, met several executives, got the Policy cancelled from TATA AIG, paid all my legitimate dues and I continue to be billed for the Premium amounts. They reversed the Principal amount of 2 Premuims after two months and rest they got refund from Tata AIG, my policy was also cancelled. But they continue to charge to my account Financial charges and Interest and Late fees which were not reversed and asked me to pay that amount arrived due an error on their behalf of charging 6 premiums together erroneously.I wrote to the Nodal Officer but every time a new Customer Care Executive writes back giving a different version of the case and asking me to make the payments.
I am looking at writing to RBI Ombudsman, we can together fight our case.
