In spite of my repeated requests to helpline number and written to the concern department regarding the charges that was always libeled, but nothing has done from their end.

I have received the Bank Statements for the first two months (i.e., Feb 2007 and Mar 2007). And then onwards, I have not received a single statement from the Bank.

As I was not receiving any statements, from April 2007 to October 2007 based on the credit team (ABN Amro ) instructions, I made the payments. And when I asked them, why the installment is varying month on month, they told me that only the said amount is reflecting in you statement and the same to be paid and also the installment is changed and the same will be rectified from next month onwards. And also told that the statement will be sent to my corrected address. But after that no statement was received.

And in the month of October 2007, I called Customer Care and once again updated my latest address and informed to send the statement to my address. And also as per the customer care, I came to know that one 1 Installment is pending as per the Bank (i.e., for the month of Oct 2007).

And in the month of Nov 2007, I made Two (2) Payments for Rs.2448/- for 2 pending months. So up to Nov 2007 everything is cleared.

And then onwards (i.e. from Dec 2007), I made regular payments without the Statement within the due dates.

In spite of, I dropping the cheque week before the due date, the Clearing of Cheques will take too long time. Meanwhile Bank Credit Team will contact me and ask me whether to send the Executive to collect the payment, where in I have already done the payment week before. And if enquired about delay in clearing the cheques, it is informed to me that to drop the cheques in Residency Road Branch, otherwise if it is dropped in any other ABN Amro ATMs it will take its own time to clear.

On 8th December 2008, one of the Bank Credit Executive from Chennai has called and was enquiring about when I am going to make the next month payment (i.e., due on 4th Jan 2009). If I am paying my installment in time, why is this enquiry?

I had taken loan for a sum of Rs.50000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) from ABM Amro Bank. I have made all the payments within the 24 months Period. Now and then recovery agents are calling me and harassing me and my family members to pay Rs.13,000/-, whereas I have cleared everything.

Recently, on 20th June 2010, one by name Mr. Vikas Singh, had called from RBS (Royal Bank of Scotland) and told me to clear the due of Rs.13,000/-, when I told him that I have made all the payments within the said period (24 months), he was insisting me to pay a sum of Rs.6000/- and he will give me a clearance certificate. Whereas, when I need not have to pay anything, why should I pay Rs.6000/- and get the clearance certificate. I told him I will mail to RBI (Reserve Bank of India) regarding the same and he told me that nothing will happen if u mail to RBI, you pay Rs.6000/- and he is not willing to give his / official email ID, so that I can mark a copy to him.

Again on 22nd June 2010, one person from RBS (Royal Bank of Scotland) is continuously calling on odd hours to my mother at home and harassing with bad words.

Kindly help me out in this issue, or I may have to write to RBI.

With Regards,
Kiran
