dear sir,
my loan acount no is mentioned above. against this a settlement was done a letter received by me from icici bank. as per the letter i paid 1st installment of rs16150/- by due date mentioned in the letter. balance rs16150/- was to be paid by 28th feb for which chq was issued.
lien was put on my account for rs 36204/79 by the bank.
i fail to understand when entire payment has been issued to bank why are thwy continuing with lien on my account. inspite of my repeated requests they refuse to lift lien because of which i am facing lot of problems. when amount is under lien how can i pay.
bank is harrasing me .
i ma pasting my communication with the ban below for your ref & record.

2. as per agreement letter dated 27th jan ref no:APP25011002226 ( SCANNED COPY ALREADY SENT YOU WITH MY EARLIER MAIL)
i was to pay rs 16150/- on 5th feb which i have already paid. 2nd installment of rs 16150/- is due on 28th feb for which i have alraedy paid chq.( scanned copy of payment rect already sent to you with my earlier mail).
3.whent amount to be paid is only rs 16150/- how can you continue with lien on rs 36204.79.
4. you have mentioned payment is updated in the system, i must inform you that i have confirmatory messages of the bank confirming payment received of first installment. so it is obvous you are lying.
in would again request you to pl remove this lien with immediate effect since it does not match with what you officers promise.

dear sir,
my card had an outatnding of rs36204/79. this was settled for rs 32300/-( settlement letter attached). as per letter i was to pay rs16150/- by 5th feb & rs 16150/- by 28th feb.
as per settlement i paid rs 16150/- by 5th feb & issued chq dated for 28th feb for bal rs 16150/- .
on 15th jan icici bank put lien on my account for rs 36204/79 towards outstanding amount. this was never informed to me.
when settlement letter was issued i was told by their collecting agency that moment ist installment of payment is reced lien on account will be removed.
inspite of ist instalment of payment getting cleared now bank is refusing to remove lien on my account inspite of my repeated reminders to custemercare & to mr puneet taluja( office who issued settlement letter).
my complaint is when i have acted in a fair manner why bank is harrassing me. further with lien in place how can i pay 2nd installment. i fear cheque issued for 2nd installment will bounce owing to lack of funds.
i would request you to kindly take matter with icici bank to resolve the issue.

Hi Sir/ Madam,
I am 23 years old and employed in a Multi National Company and paying regular taxes on my income. My income is sufficient enough that any bank or organization can easily lend me handsome amount to build and maintain my assets.
I would like to draw your kind attention towards the misguidance caused to me by ICICI Bank Ltd. I made an online booking for “Tata Nano NANO BS 3 IVORY WHITE” car on April 17th, 2009 and made online payment of Rs. 3399 through my master card. I received the ref. #ALI1117267 and Nano Application #114432099 through the online form. I submitted all the necessary documents which were required in the Janak Puri Branch. On July 06th, 2009, I received another e-mail from Sanya Motors (Vendor-Tata Nano) stating that I have been allotted the car.
When I went to the Janak Puri Branch to confirm as when and how I will be getting the car, they advised me to pay Rs 123,000 within 7 days time or else the allotment would be considered null and void. Unfortunately I couldn’t arrange that lump sum. I requested one of the branch manager’s in the Janak Puri branch to lend me that amount so I could have paid that in installments. But they refused to provide me with the loan amount just because I was 22 years old.
Please be informed that earlier ICICI loan manager advised me that they could lend me that kind of money. But later on they refused to lend the amount. Then I went to the Central Bank of India (Janak Puri) to opt for a loan. I directly spoke with a gentleman who identified himself to be the branch manager. I respect his polite advise as he asked me to go to the ICICI bank again and ask them if Government can issue me a Driving License and I can work and earn my livelihood, so who are they to refuse me for the loan just because of my age. I appreciate the sincere advice of the Branch manager of Central Bank of India. Even though he was ready to lend me the amount but just because I opted for ICICI bank initially, he failed to help me.
This matter has caused me severe harm and mental stress. I would want you to compensate a settlement accordingly or else I will escalate the matter to higher authorities.
