My name is Priya Soni.This is regarding the issue which I am facing to pay my Education loan EMI to SBI Bank( Branch - Maihar, Disrict Satna.Madhya Pradesh).I converted my loan amount to EMI in Dec,2010. After that SBI deducted my EMI only for 2 months ( Dec and Jan). Later manager called me to pay Interest of rs 10000 which i paid on Feb, 2011. After paying this big amount their system is not deducting my loan EMI from my saving account and it had been two months for the same. I asked them also to deduct that but they said that there are some problems in their system. And this problem is still existing. My concern is that they are not taking my EMI and because of that i will have to pay interest when that is not my mistake and if they have any problem with their system they should consult with those people who made that system.

Still they are not taking it seriously because interest is going to their bank and i am unnecessary troubling because of their mistakes.

Please take some action for these people i really fed up by raising tickets and calling them.Not good services at all.

was remove interest for education loan but in gingee SBI bank was collect the interest for student so my parents is very suffered for that problem please give the solution for that problem.kindly take action for that problem

I am a student of b.tech in 'Information technology' at COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING,BHUBANESWAR(CEB).I have admitted into b.tech in lateral entry after diploma in 2010.My father is now a retired primary teacher.my parents are unable to give such a higher amount of course fee.So i had applied
for a student loan in SBI branch at Kupari,Balasore,Orissa.I had diposited all my documents by filling up the student loan application form.But after 1 month
they inform us to transfer my father's uco bank pension account to SBI.My father agreed to do so and borrowed my 1st year course fee.But when after 6 months,the pension account is transfered to kupari sbi,they denied to give me loan.they are telling that this year our bank will not give student loan and this is ordered from main branch of Balasore.so how can my parents give next 2 years course fee? and how will they escape from the lenders?

Myself Dalwadi Pratikkumar kirtanbhai from kasor(DIST-ANAND) had completed my B.PHARM and i want to pursue my further studies in CANADA. I applied in local SBI branch(bhalej DIST-anand) for eduational loan from where they accepted my application to give loan. Then after 20days when my whole documentation was completed they rejected the application saying that the course i applied in cananda is a GRADUATE CERTIFICATE COURSE. But this course by definition means it is eligible for university grauates only.Hence this course has to be considered to be of a post graduate level. I also attached a loan application assistance letter given by canadian college requesting the banks to accept the loan application but everything the bank did was to reject even after my long persuadation.I had to pay my fees after 25 days and the head office (ahmedabad) where i sent a request email has not yet replied to this. I am from Kerala, working in Delhi. My parents had taken one Education Loan of Rs.1,00,000/- for my sister's higher education from North malabar Gramin bank Vattiyamthode(Kannur), Kerala by pledging documents of our property. She got a job one year before. And my parents started to repay the loan amount as some small instalment after getting the job. Now it is find that they are sending regular notice to my uneducated parents , asking to repay the whole loan amount.The Branch Manager insisted my uneducated parents to take another loan of Rs.20,000/- and repay the education loanby saying that it will reduce your interest to 8%. They did the same and the 8% interest is only for second loan. I got all this information about this cheating after this second loan of Rs.20,000/- only. Now I request to provide some clarifaication from your side by Reffering the norms of RBI about Education Loan.My parents received a letter yesterday from your bank to present before the Branch Manager within two days.My mother became a BP patients because of the insisting of Bank. I want to take a home loan for making a home in our property but for that all documents are in their hands.
Sir Plese give me clarification for my three questions and advice me the next step to do.

1. For what purpose they insisted my parents to submit the documents of property to get one education loan of Rs.10,000/-
2. For what purpose they insisted my parents to take another loan for repay the education loan by giving a misunderstanding.
3. For what purpose they send notices before my sister finish her job one year.

Actually i got Education Loan from IOB on 2002 Rs 2.40 lk.they given the loan against my land property.and till 2006 i have paid all intrest amount. after that i did not pay anything. i have completed my course on 2006. so last five years i did not pay anything due to the reson for no job. now i got the job. but i can pay monthly some amount. i really need help from you , how to talk to the manager for this reson. We are unable to pay the course fee so applied the education loan from SBI and SBP and got rejected three times from Bank even thought I have fulfilled the required documents. They are not ready to section the loan please find details from below:-
First case from my Native place bank SBI:-
1) Before admission I approached the SBI Ekma and the did rejected my application and given me a reason, we can’t provide you b’sc we don’t know how you will pay the remaining fee where we can give you loan only for two years. We were already submitted all property document with proper signature and all.

2) Second case is really unbelievable and would like to take any action against this case. I have my own house in Mumbai and there is loan against that property in SBP (State Bank of Patiala) even though there is gap means as a collateral security (6 lacks) available with that loan but they are not ready to sanction that loan. I approached them from last more than 1 years and they are rejected that loan three times. Please take any action and give me solution as soon as possible.

They are not ready to sanction my loan, in case bank is not ready to give me loan then my brother has to discontinue the MBBS course where I already spend near about 10 lacks from last 2 years.


RBI@ Special request from RBI please have a look for this case and give me approval as soon as possible for my brother’s education

SBP@ Request to you please give me clarification and proper valid reason why bank is not ready to give the education loan even all required formalities is fulfilled by me

SBI@ Can SBI review this case ones from their end this is really very serious and urgent case

MCI@ Request to you please review ones from their end in india SBI and SBP is not ready to give the education loan for their approved collage in Ukrain like Odessa University
