We have taken loan agains property for business development 35 yrs back and paid part payment and part of due pending. unable pay due to bad business and closed the business with in 3 yrs. Bank was very silient so far and local advocates taken this as a big case and asking for bribe at every time to get stay. This case has been moved to High Court and initially they said its a dead case nothing to argue and bank needs to close this account but the same advocate now saying we need to pay the principal and interest for the whole time, which is not possible as we are already in a bad financial situation. Can the consumer court can guide or advise the rules of the bank and settlement issues .
