Default Bajaj Allianz - Wrong Policy Received from Swadeshi Life Assurance - 0219957207

    To,
    Manager,
    Customer grievance cell

    Dear Sir,

I received call from Manju, from “Swadeshi Life Assurance LTD”, Delhi (Phone number: 7827593768) about the “Cash Gain” policy and I agreed to purchase it based on following points she mentioned:

    1. 20,000 annual premium for sum assured of 8,00,000 (accidental death benefit: 16,00,0000)

    2. Mediclaim of 2,00,000/year covering myself, my wife and two daughters. She mentioned that I will receive a card which I can show to the hospitals for treatment.

    3. 50% Educational reimbursement for my two kids which includes annual fee (Everything included), and money spend for school uniform and stationary.

    4. After 4 years I can withdraw 1,22,000 amount.

She has also mentioned to mention “DLP/2009/JP” code on back of all the documents, which I have done.

On 8th June 2011, I received policy document and realized that I have been CHEATED by your executive (MAY BE BY BAJAJ ALLIANZ). The sum assured amount of the policy is 2,66,000. There is no supporting document for Mediclaim and nothing about Educational benefits. The policy is on the life of my daughter “Kimaya Yogesh Sarade” (which was not mentioned and I specifically taken this for me). Nothing mentioned about my 2nd daughter.

I forwarded this complaint to life@bajajallianz.co.in but haven’t received any reply yet. After sending this in email I have speak with the agency “Swadeshi Life Assurance LTD” and they informed that this is their mistake and they will send the correct policy bond within 2-3 days by hand. As I haven’t received it I have spoken to the Mumbai (Andheri) office number 02267843100 and they informed that one of their executive (Balaji: 9987495954) would come to collect the policy. I have spoken to Balaji and send my address by SMS and he confirms that he will collect the policy on Thursday (23rd June 2011) but not arrived.

In the meanwhile I have spoken to Manju (The first person who sold me the policy) and she informed that someone would collect the policy and replace it with correct policy document within 3 days (i.e. upto 24th June 2011). But today when I called Manju, she haven’t picked up the phone. I call the office number and they informed that there is no one called Manju. Upon explaining my issue to the executive he mentioned that he will speak with someone in service department and get back to me within 1 hour. Even after 4 hrs no one contacted me. Then I have tried contacting their several numbers but no one was responded properly. Finally I was able to connect with Manju and she informed that she will contact me again and resolve this at the earliest. Still this is not resolved.

Manju is now not picking up my phone and if I reach their office number, they are not allowed me to contact her either they disconnect or said no one named “Manju” is working there.

Please check my policy and personal details:

Policy number: 0219957207 (Super Cash Gain)
    Yogesh Mahadeo Sarade
AL-1, Room No. 51, Shivam Apartments,

For your reference: Below are the numbers on which I have communicated:
    Office Numbers: 01206400209, 01206401019, 01206400233
    Manju’s Personal Number: 09999082120
Other Number from where I received first call: 07827593768

Please could you look into this on high priority and try to resolve at the earliest and make sure that the correct document would reach me at the earliest or cancel my policy and give me full refund.

    Thank you.

    Dear Sir,

    Thanks for your reply.

Yesterday, June 29, 2011, I received a call from your executive. He mentioned that he will fulfill the promises made by the insurance agent. However, he later on mentioned that there would not be 50% educational reimbursement and the sum assured would be 8,00,000. Finally I ask him to cancel the policy as I received different commitments from different people.

After speaking to him I received a call from Balaji: 9987495954 (Collection executive) who earlier promised me that he will collect my policy before Thursday (23rd June 2011) but not arrived. He mentioned that someone will come today 30th June 2011 to my office to collect the policy we fixed the appointment at 3:00 PM but no one arrives.

I have also forwarded this complaint to "Swadeshi Life Assurance" but no one contacted me to resolve the same. I spoke to their Mumbai office number (available on website) on 25th June and they inform that this will get resolved on Monday and someone would contact me on Monday but no one contacted.

Swadeshi Life Assurance's executives are not responsible. When I tried to contact their Delhi office a Boy spoke with me in Girl's voice and make fun of me. It feels like they are insulting their clients, not giving any value to their clients. Once a product sold, its done for them.

I hope you would resolve this at the earliest and take action against Swadeshi Life Assurance.

    Thank you.

    Dear sir,

The policy is now collected on Friday, 1st July with written letter, ID proof, cancelled cheque. Also I received call from your executive confirming I would receive complete refund shortly today 6th July 2011.

As I mentioned earlier that the executives from "Swadeshi Life Assurance LTD” make fun of me I would like you to take some strict action against them. I understand that they fetch good business for you by selling huge number of insurance policy but giving wrong commitment and not valuing the customers may spread negativity about your products.

One of the senior person from your company "Rohit Sharma" (9718541902) called me earlier and I explain this to him and he assured me that a strict action would be taken against "Swadeshi". I would like you to do the same.

    Thank you.
