This is with reference to policy number 0114459546.
In the above-mentioned policy we have verified the matter and would like to inform
you that the policy has been issued on the basis of proposal form filled and signed
by policyholder, where the policyholder have actually filled in for regular premium
and with a product selected as "Family Assure" which is a market linked policy and
value of the policy is dependent on the unit prices.
Initially in the above mentioned policy the allocation charges for the first year
allocation is 30% and unallocated amount 70% goes towards management expenses and
policy procurement charges and the allocation rates for the renewal premium for
second and third year onwards is 97% respectively. (For more details please refer in
policy document).
As per the policy condition the policy should complete three years and minimum three
premiums should be paid, if one premium is not paid on the due date the policy will
be lapsed as mentioned in the policy document.
Allocation of the policy is based on product specification and unallocated amount
goes towards the policy procurement. We want to confirm you that the allocation
rates are mentioned in all sales literatures as well as in policy document and all
the product are approved by IRDA before selling.
We want to inform you that you have paid three regular renewal premiums, according
to which your policy is eligible for premium holiday. as per the policy conditions,
the policy shall be kept in force by affecting a premium holiday for so long as the
policy has sufficient funds to be unitized to pay for the cost of insurance. "Cost
of Insurance" is the monthly monetary amounts assessed towards mortality and
additional benefits. This is recovered against the policy's account value by
canceling units at their bid price.
If you were not satisfied with the same then you could have approached us within the
freelook period for refund. Since, this request is given to us beyond freelook
period it is not possible for us to cancel the policy after the risk cover.
We would like to inform you that your policy is in issued status and we request you
to please pay the premiums and enjoy the benefits of the policy.
