sub: Refund of rs.35000/- paid as premium for single premium
policy.
Dear sir,
this is to inform your good self that i have purchase a
life insurance policy & opted for single premium payment
policy i.e. One time payment & given a chq of rs 20000/- to
your sales team miss rachna rana & mr. Bhaskar, who has
came to me to sale reliance life insurance product, but
when the policy reached to me on 20.01-2009 i was surprised
to see that instead of issuing single premium policy the
policy have 10 years term plan and as soon as i informed
about this wrong doing/lapse to miss rachna rana & mr.
Bhaskar who has done the policy on behalf of reliance
life insurance co. Ltd & again they come to my office &
giving explanation that this mistake has been happen due
to clerical mistake on their part & take away policy
document with them with an assurance that within 7-10
days i will get new correct single plan policy , but again
when i not received the policy , i approached them & this
time they said to me that for single premium plan minimum
investment is rs. 35000/- ( thirty five thousand only) is
required & they insisted to shell out an additional rs -
15000/ ( fifteen thousand only) payment to get single
premium plan& i have paid rs.15000/ by cash on good faith
to them, but again when i not received the policy i
contact them & as well as reported the matter to your
sale officer mr. Amit at sco no-35,sec-11,reliance web
world panchkula from where your sale staff
functioning & he has given me written assurance that i
will get my refund of premium within 20 days , photocopy
of which i attached herewith for your kind ref, but till
today there is no positive response or refund.
Sir all that happened due to negligence or lapse of
services on part of your staff. So i request your good self
to look in to this matter & arrange my refund at your
earliest otherwise i have bound take legal action throw
consumer court ,as i feel i have cheated by your staff.
