    Default Complete amount as promised in the surrender letter not refunded

    I had this ULIP with Bajaj Alliance taken in 2008. Firstly the agent had claimed that this can be redeemed in 3 years if I wish to. Blame it on my ignorance that I had not read the fine print. After completion of 3 years this year, I surrendered this policy on Feb 5th. I was given a statement saying the refund amount would be Rs. 28669/- as opposed to my investment of 30000.
    Finally when the cheque was sent, the amount refunded was Rs. 24837/-
    On lodging a complaint on this, I am told this was a temporary system issue due to which the surrender quote was printed wrongly.
