Dear Sir/Madam,
This is regarding Unit linked policy no. 002453224, I had called the customer support them in Dec 2010 to check if i can pay the premium in advance as i had to submit my investment proof at my company by 1st Jan 2011.
They suggested that I can make the payment and they will be able to send me the tax certificate even though the premium date is 22 Jan 2011.
Hence i made the payment on 23rd Dec and waited for the tax certificate, I called the support number on 28th and they refused to send the tax certificate saying that they cannot do it until Jan 22 2011. They even refused to at least send an email indicating that the amount has been received and they will issue the tax certificate after the payment due date.
I asked them for a refund of the advance payment on 31st Dec 2010, because i can at least invest somewhere else, they agreed and said the transaction would happen in 3 days.
I have not received any payment since then, might have called them about 20 times, spoken to all the people including the operations manager, everybody promise to do refund the money in 1-2 days and call back and confirm but the transaction never happens and i end up calling them again to spend another two hours and they always promise a call back in a few hours and never call back nor effect the reversal, i have since taken up another policy from Bajaj Allianz and made payment there and am having to pay interest on the credit card transaction of 29,920.
Please make them return the advance payment with interest that has incurred on my credit card for the above amount @3% on daily basis.
Please let me know if there is any further information or proof of any kind needed from my end.
