I was contacted by ICICI prodential executives to invest in Elite Pension II plan. While taking the plan I was assured by the executives that I have to only pay one time premium, but upon getting my policy I realised that it is a minimum 3 year premium payment else my policy will lapse.
This has pu me into difficulty as I do not have money to invest for 3 years. I want ICICI Pruential to compensate me for the ill advice given by its executives.
Now I not aven able to contact the executive.

Date 7th Feb 2010 - Nishank Kappor contacted me and explained that it is a one time policy. He has followed up internally and got me a letter from the company as a formal clarification. Thanks Nishank. I would not have done this but I was not able to get a proper anser. I know it is not you but ICICI Prudential as a comapny which has created this confusion.

I met the ICICI Prudential Team Member and I told him that I was looking for 1 time premium policy and that I can invest around 3 lacs. I was sold out Elite Pension II policy in 2010.
I was browsing through the net and now I learnt that this policy is not a one time premium policy and I had spoken the same to the team member when I recieved the brochure about the premium to be paid yearly and he said there was nothing to worry about.Now off lately I started getting Sms to pay the premium.The team member was notified who in return have said that the brochure has in fine print that if you cannot pay the premium for 3 years it was fine and that I could ignore the Sms as they are programmed .But would like the same on email or hard copy from ICICI inorder to know that my hard earned money is in safe hands. Assistance for a prompt solution will be highly appreciated.
