    Default Complaint against Birla Sunlife Insurance company

    Dear Sir/Mam,

    Please treat this letter as a formal complaint against Birla Sun Life Insurance Company, for not updating my fund switch on time & not taking my complaints seriously.
    I want to draw your kind attention towards this issue that I have switched funds in the last one month from matimiser to Enhancer to Protector for my Policy no. 001291703 depending on market conditions and sensex and Nifty movements which does affect the value of my funds in this ULIP based policy. As per the information given on their website and also when you call their customer care toll free number what you are told is that If you switch funds before 3:00 PM on a particular day then you are given the NAV of the updated fund for the same day else if you switch funds after 3:00 PM then you are given the NAV of the updated fund of the next day. WhenI switch funds I do it early morning and still they do not update my funds on the same day and do it after a few days which contadicts the information provided by their customer care officers and their website information and due to this delay I have faced a lot of loss...More than 5-6K loss in the last one month. Also when I switch fnds i do it online and also call their toll free to confirm. Their supervisors do not call back..I called and spoke to satvik Supervisor a few times who promised to call back but didnt. I called them many times and registered complaints in email too and what they tell is that the fund gets updated in 2 working days which contradicts the information they give by the website and their customer care officers. Moreover they took more than 2 working days to update my funds whereas they are supposed to do it same day If I have updated my funds before 3:00 PM. Please guide me what should I do as they have misused my funds and this is my hard earned money. .

    I'll be very thankful to you if you take this matter & solve my problem because I dont want to suffer and loose money because of their carelessness.

    Default non receipt of commission, Daffodils Insurance Agency pvt ltd, 2160

    Dear sir,

    We are a corporate agent of Birla Sunlife Insurance company. Lots of insurance Policies have been sold by our company on behalf of the said insurance company. Our relashionship was good. But in the month of June 2010 we have raised a bill of Rs. 29,400/- against our commission. Reminders have been given for several times. But no satisfactory reply has been received from their side till date. The conserned persion is not taking the matter seriously. Everytime they try to avoid our problems. We are operating from Guwahati, Assam. And their office is situated at Sandmari Colony , Guwahati, Assam. we hereby request you to take this application as formal complain against Birla Sunlife Insurance Compnay. We further request you to do the needful.

    I have made manny complains. No body is helping me. I have spoken to the customer care
    but no one reacting on my issues.I'm a regular customer.

    Default Complaint against ICICI Lombard Insurance Company

    The amount of Rs.7559/- is directly debited from my credit card account without my intimation nor any call received at my end from the Company, because of which I am receiving calls from Credit Card Executives for the recovery amount that is now exactly 10113/- inclusive of late payment charges, service tax and so on.

    I have followed several times but could not contact them and I have also put many mails to the icicilombard customer service regarding the same issue and I was told to reply with the scan copy of the amount debited from my credit card and I have not received any calls since then from their end nor is the problem solved. I have send them the scan copy of the same as asked by them and also put several mails, but did not get any result from the authorities.

    Kindly give me some guidelines.

    Default Policy Amount due

    Dear sir ,, Im a policy holder of birla sun life insurance from past three years and i had submitted a form of surrender of my policy three months back and i made several calls to my representative and customer care in mumbai to give my Due back but no response till now and im fed up with this type of ill response ....they never try to resolve my problem despite several calls i made ....Is this the way they treat a customer ...I request the concerned person to solve this problem of mine ....My policy number is 001129067 R.mahaveer

    Angry Fund switch complaint

    The fund switching is not effected online even after one week in my case. Every time when I call, the customer care executive says that it will be updated online after one week, and I would get the benefit from the day I switched plans.

    But online I can see that it works based on the prior portfolio.

    There is definitely something fishy by the company. It is not at all transparent.

    Somebody has to interfere from the Govt side.

    Default Indemnity bond on a Rs 200/-stamp paper

    Hi,
    On 04/02/2012, I have given Adyar Branch, Chennai indemnity bond on a Rs 200/-stamp paper for loss of policy document (no 002502837 ). But I received the policy account statement instead of duplicate copy of policy document. When will BSLI provide me? When I was attempted to talk with customer care, the IVR system asks me to enter 9 digit policy number (002502837). By providing, it says me that the policy number is incorrect. When I was called to Adyar branch, the lady is answered me wrongly for 2 calls. Later on, she is not picking my calls. I have filed complaints to customerservice@birlasunlife.com many times. I haven’t see such worst customer service anywhere before.

    Hi Team,

    I am Siyol Jain, S/O Mr. Sunil Kumar Jain.

    My fater Mr. Sunil Kumar Jain have taken one policy of birla sun life on 2008 my policy no is 001474270 on the name of sunil kumar jain, in that i had to pay three mandatory premium for three years i have given first premium at the time of policy taken amount rs 11688- receipt no-5245805 date 12/02/2008 and due to some reson i was late to pay second premium and due this this delaycontinuously every month i am getting notice from birlasonlife so i went there office on 29/10/2009 and discussed about it that i am late so what i have to do to pay second premium so they told me don't worry you can pay second premium now and after that your policy will start i asked them let me know if there is any problem but they told me that don't worry pay second premium so i have paid the second premium on the same day 29/10/2009 receipt no - 15334093 amount 11690/- and after that i went there in June 2010 to pay the third premium of rs 11688/- but this time they told that you haven't deposited your second premium so i told that i have areceipt that i have deposited my second premium on 29/10/2009 receipt no 15334093 so they told, ok let me check and after some time they told you have deposited but due to some reason your premium is not deposited and returned through check by blue dot courier but i din't get any courier for this even i din't get any call,mail or any information about this from birlasunlife at that time when i went there for depositing 3rd premium than they told me all this so i asked him what i have to do it so they told the courier is not delivered at your address because particular courier service is not available there in your town, so i told that that's not my problem you have to inform me that this is the issue after 1 year you told me that your money is not deposited due to some reason and after that they told me we ware trying to get your check and then we will give you back and after that you can deposit it again along with the third premium so i told this is not fair who is responsible for my loss so they told there is no other way so i have decided to withdraw my whole money back after some time they have given my check back to me but still my first premium left that they told u will get it after some time but till now i didn't get back my money and i have tried to contact the customer care so they told no money is balance every thing is finish due to heavy charges in your policy so they have cheated with me and i din't get any profit in place of that my hole first premium also gone they are not giving me back i have taken my policy when the sensex is around 10,000 and now it is 18000 i got huge loss please look into that and please do needful for me.

    NOTE : I am sending the same mail to Birlasunlife customer service @ customerservice@birlasunlife.com.
