Hi All,

Can anybody help in understanding how does the corporate insurance policy works as i have an issue here with my company X (which i am working for).

My company (X) had a tie-up with a company (Y) for health insurance to cover medical expences of the employee and their 2 direct dependents.

Now my mom was un well and i had to send around 65k for her treatment meanwhile my company (X) broke the tie-up with this company to get the better service from some other comany (Z) however we had got an instructions that the expenditure incured on or before some specified date we can still claim the expences for the insurance provider (Y).

The all the expences incured by me fell under that specified dates thus i submitted all the photocopies of the bills and got an acknoledgment for the same howeve after few weeks i got an email information which stated that my bills were misplaced and i had send the the soft copy which again i did send them the soft copy.

Now the issue is the insurance provider (Y) is delaying the claims and even efforts of my company's (X) efforts have gone in vain.

Please do help me in this issue can I take this case to consumer court and if yes please do help how do i go about it in bangalore?
