I am regularly paying through ECS. I regularly get premium paid certificates from Birla Sunlife Insurance, which my total premium paid amount as ZERO. I have taken up this issue with agent, Pune office, Mumbai office, Customer Service and so on. I have sent numerous mail and constant phones, angry follow ups etc. but nothing seems to be working out. I am worried that in case of claim, it will not get settled, or there will be lot of problems at the time of claim. It is my right to get the correct premium paid certificate, as every hard earned rupee has lot of value, and high value as far as insurance premiums are concerned. Nobody seems to be seriously taking up this issue for correction at the root level. I think their computer programs and systems are not proper which calls for immediate inspection by concerned regulatory authority. Frustated due to this problem, I wish to take out my money and put in some reliable organisation like LIC. Will I get either written assurance that their systems will not generate false statements? If not, will they pay my entire amount back with interest?
