I purchased a policy (11448904) called Life Stage Assured with an half yearly premium of Rs.25, 000/-. At the time of purchasing, i clearly told the executive that i am looking for a short term investment, then the executive told me and assured me that the policy is for only 3 years and after 3 years i can surrender it and get my 100% fund value with my first premium. Only after that i went ahead and purchased it. This was the first fake and wring information given to me. Secondly after i got the free lookup period i immediately called to the call center and spoke to one of the executive and told him that in document it is been marked for 15 years of term where as i have gone for a 3 years of investment and if it is for 15 years of term then I am not interested, then the executive from call center assured me that it is for 3 years and need not to worry as this is just a procedure due to which it has been marked for 15 years, but he assured me that I can surrender it after 3 years and can get my 100% fund value along with my first premium. This was the second fake information given to me. After that only I went ahead and continued or else I would have cancelled it. Then in the month of July I called again and spoke to a person in the call center regarding to know the procedure for surrendering my policy as I am going through with a very bad financial situation. Then the person told me that I cannot surrender it as I did not even complete one year, so he suggested me to pay the 2nd half premium and the can request for surrendering my policy so that I will get my whole amount. This was the third fake information and assurance I got it from ICICI Pru Life. But I still when ahead and paid the second half premium by taking a loan from my company. I paid the amount and I called again to the call center in the month of October and told them that I want to surrender the policy, please let me know the procedure. There I got to know that if I surrender it I will not get my premium what I have paid. Since from October till date I have been calling them all and speaking to many people and no one is able to help me. I infact got a call from the Residency Road (Bangalore) Branch and they said me that they have read my concerns and apologized for the inconvenience caused and assured me that I will get my premium amount within 7 working days. They also told me that they will be sending a letter or document to the Income Tax Department that I am no more a policy holder with ICICI Prudential and the Income Tax Department will ask me to pay some amount to them but I will be getting my whole premium amount, with the happiness and excitement I even didn’t bother to ask his name, that was the mistake I made. Then I waited for 7 days, 10 days, 15 days, I did not get a call. Then from the corporate office, one of the executive named Sharayu called me and asked me about the issue. I told her everything and then she told me that she forward it to the concern department and will have a check on it. Thereafter I have been getting mails that they are working on my concern and allow them till so and so date and these mails I keep getting once the date which is mentioned is gone. Then finally I got a mail that they cannot process it. After that I again called your call center and spoke to Sukesh and told him everything about my issue, he forwarded the call to his supervisor named Kalyan and he assured me that he will do his best and will arrange a callback within 48hrs. Then I got a call from the feedback team and I again told him everything and he said that he will forward my concern to the concern team again. Now the trust what I had on this company have lost it completely.

I am writing this because everyone gave me fake information, fake promises for which I am suffering today. I even don’t have money to survive and all happened because of the wrong information and fake promises given to me.

I am the only person taking care of my entire family in which there are 6 members and all are dependent on me.

Now since I have lost the trust, I have recorded all the conversations what I had with them.
