I am a HDFC credit card holder. one fine day Standrd life people have called me for regarding Health Insurance poliicy and deducted Rs. XXXXX/- on my aggremant from Credit card dated on 12-Mar-2010. My amount got deducted but I did not recieve any policy documents as on date. As per the terms and conditions of the policy the customer can cancel the policy within 15 days of receiving the original documents. If it is not satisfactory to the customer and customer can not make any claim for first 3 months. In my case it is already more than a month over neither a receive a document nor cancel the policy and also can not revert back my amount. SO BE CAREFUL WITH TIE-UP COMPANIES LIKE.... HDFC - HDFC Standard Life, HSBC - Tata AIG, etc.
