Thumbs down Hdfc standard life fraud

I have taken HDFC STANDARD LIFE ENDOWMENT POLICY in March 2004. THis is a money back policy so they should give me money back payout in march 2009.

I have already registered HDFC STANDARD LIFE site means already given email id , mobile number and also subscriber email and SMS notification.

They have not send me cheque on march 2009 and also not send any email and SMS notification.

Even not any mail and reminder.

They keep on remind about premium. They also give information about premium due date and premium amount on there registered site but not provide any information about customer refund date and amount.

Not any information about refund money.

on 4th January I have visited there HDFC branch and given bank detail to send me my money.

They have given me cheque on 16th Jan saturday after lot of followup.
I can not use this cheque before monday.

Now HDFC should give me interest from 28th March,2009 to 18th jan 2010.

In March 2009 interest rate was also very high. FD rate was running 10.5% and sensex was at 8000.

They have invested my hard money at the best time and earn lot of profit from this money. I have put complaint two time in HDFC STANDARD LIFE and done 3 to 4 time follow up but not any reply.

They should give me definitely compensation or at least 10.5% interest for 10 months otherwise I will lodge a official complaint in consumer court because company are earning money by making fraud.

Default Do not go for HDFC Life nisurance

I have taken a policy from HDFC standard life insurance for tax purposes. The name of the policy is Young star.

I have opted for a direct debit option.

The payment was regularly debited for 5 months.

The sixth month it was not presented on the due date and was returned due to insufficient funds later on.

The very next month I was told that the policy was lapsed and to revive the policy I was asked to pay Rs 250.

I told that I cannot pay the revival charges but I was ready to continue the policy.

The person called me told that he will get back to me who never came back.

Once in a while I used to get a call for reviving the policy but always asked to pay the revival charges.

Finally, I was told that the policy will be canceled and I can get a refund after 3 years lock in period.

When I call them for refund after 3 years, I am told that there will be no refund paid to me as all the amount is deducted for processing charges (Rs 10000)

So, I suggest not go go for private insurance, especially to HDFC standard life.

Dont lose your hard earned money !!

    Regards
    Saravanan
