Thread: Providing new agency code on renewal of IRDA Licence by HDFC Standard Life Insurance

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a financial advisor (agent) of HDFC Standard Life Insurance Co Ltd from 2005 and my licence expiry date was 11/2008. I approched the company for renewal of my licence and completed all the formalities and paid the fees of Rs.1000/- for that and i was told that licence will be renewed and they (HDFC SLIC) will inform me about this.

After some time about one month, i was told your licence is renewed and a new agency code was given to me. I told the respective officer dealing it about this and i was told that they will look into this and necessary action will be taken.

This continued for more than 8-9 months and i didnot got my old agency code and all the details attached with old agency code was not accessible by me.

Then i mailed to them on 30/10/2009 about this to their Mumbai Office and several mail was exchanged from then onwards and last mail was received from them on 22/12/2009 that they will not provide me back my old agency code and all the renewal commission along with customer details was not accessible.

I here by pray to your goodself that please look into this and do the needful at the earliest.

My old agency code is 00042010 and new agency code provided to me is 00333940.
