    Default Complaint Against Reliance Life Insurance

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    Sub: Issue of the Sum Amount to the Life Assured for Contract No:
    11836584, Client ID : 03923572.

    This is in reference to Reliance Automatic Investment plan - Reg,
    Policy No(11836584) drawn in favour of MRS. Kacham Nagaratnamma and sum assured worth Rs 100,000/- and as a premium of Rs.10,000/- for year.

    The above said policy was proposed on 31-march-2008, While the time of
    proposal client (MRS. Nagaratnamma) given the correct correspondense address and mobile number for further contacts and also it was same on Application form as well, but while issuing the policy bond and other receipts there was a mistake on correspondense address and mobile number, So that cliant was not intimated for the second premium.

    Because of this communication gap client was not made the second premium payment 10,000/ on or before the due date which is 31-March-2009, then in the mean time client was died with an road accident on 03-June-2009, and Policy nominee also severely injured and he went for a big surgery.


    There after relatives of client was given the death intimation to the nearest branch manager and submitted the related documents Form A, and Form B including Post Martem Report, FIR, Nomminee's Bank Account number and ID proof.

    The Reliance Branch manager forwarded those document to the head office and he received the cheque for an amount with current fund value of Rs .5,419.74/- .

    But policy holder was died with an accident and nominee suppose to get the sum assured of Rs. 1,00,000/-, because of wrong address and mobile number entry in the policy documents he/she was not intimated for second premium.


    For this entire process client ulimately suffering with our miss communication..

    Note: The Client and the Nominee both were uneducated people and they were not aware of the wrong address printing on the policy bonds.

    Dear Sir,

    My name is Chunni Lal, and I have three policies of your company details are mentioned below.



    S.No Contract Number Premium

    1. 12174082 10000

    2. 12190916 100000

    3. 14144765 10000



    by this letter I want to keep your kind attention to third policy. I had financial problems when your officer came to me to offer a new policy and he told me that policy can be withdrawn with in 15 days. And he had shown me on my previous bond papers that money can be withdrawn. Even I was not interested from day one, but still I took the policy for the shake of his targets.

    Within a week after the payment I was in deep financial trouble and I visited your office to withdraw my money. For this I gave the application. Some of your officers tried to convince me to continue with the policy. But was in problem and at this time I could not withdraw 1 Lakh policy due to policy conditions(lock in period). So I gave the application to withdraw Rs.10000 in presence of branch manager and a couple of other officers. I visited your office 8-10 times for this issue but every time when I came to your office I have been told that It is under process and it will be refunded in a month or so. I did not received the Bond of this policy yet, but when I got renewal premium reminder call for the same policy, I was shocked when I came to know that the policy is still in force and no withdrawal application has been processed yet.

    Now when I went to your office I came to know that that particular branch manager is no longer with Reliance Life Insurance.

    Despite of my regular visits I am shocked to know about Reliance's management.



    Sir, I am not a rich guy and can't run three policies at a time. So please refund my last Rs.10000 (contract Number - 14144765) with Interest because I am not at fault and I gave the application even before the bond and the company used the amount for one year by befooling me.



    Please reply urgently that how much time it will take.

    Reliance General Insurance have cheated me by declining cashless facility for my car accident claim.
    Initially when paying premium for the policy, they said i can avail cashless facility in case of
    major accident and if the bill amount crosses 20,000+plus.

    All the insurance people involved here have mentally tortured me like anything since
    10/Apr/2010 till date. It includes various people from the surveyor,customer care and claims department.

    My vehicle is repaired a week ago and the amount is 1,09,000. Now they say i have to pay the money and submit the
    cash receipt and bills to get re-imbursement. Workshop people are not ready to deliver the vehicle without the
    approval from Reliance Insurance.

    I am a salaried person and I know in my present condition i can't pay so much initially for the next few months.
    At the same time i can't leave my vehicle in the workshop for months just beacause i got cheated from Reliance
    general insurance agents and staff (Gave me false information and made me choose Reliance & pay the premium).

    I need help in getting cashless approval to get my vehicle As soon as possible and also help in getting
    explanation/compensation for following :

    1) delayed survey, ( Surveyer might have expected something from me and since i didn't give him he delayed this)
    2) Surveyer took 20 Days to give keep open and start repair approval to workshop,,(Supposed to be done in 1week)
    3) Everyone involved here talks as if they are giving me the claim money from their pocket.
    4) Initially Customer care told me i will get cashless if the amount crosses 20,000 RS,
    and today after my vehicle is ready they say cashless is denied and they don't have a reason for that.
    This really made me sick and added to my frustration.
    5) Everyone gave me false information right from the day i was planning to pay premium,
    6) They have no rules while taking the premium, but while giving the claim they talk to me in their technical terms
    and bring in all rules.
    7) These 40 Days i was taking a cab to office which costed me 10,000+RS till date.
    8) I wasted plenty of time and money in calling customer care,claim department and surveyer.

    This should be a lesson to all insurance companies.
    They should learn how to speak to customer professionally and deal every case very carefully.

    Its been 40 Days, it caused mental agony, frustration to me and i am still chasing Reliance for claim as if i am a begger.

    Please help.. Please help.. Please help..

    Default Complain regarding free look of the reliance life policy

    Dear Sir,

    In march 2010, I have taken a policy from Reliance Life Insurance Co. Ltd, Hazratganj Lucknow and the Branch Manager was Mr. Shariq Quidwai and Sales Manager was Ms. Huma Afaq, in Hazratganj Branch. I received my policy Bond on 06.03.2010 and i submitted my policy bond for free look with in free look period in Reliance Life office Lakhimpur Kheri branch as dated on 13.03.2010. Branch Manager Lakhimpur Kheri said to me that I'll get my money & directly credited in my ICICI account no 031801504218 with in 20 days. After 1 month when i did't received my money, i went to Lakhimpur office he said that your request is in pending and BM Lucknow did not given approval to this request. After request, BM Lakhimpur again send mail to Mr. Shariq Quidwai, and my request was ignored without any reason. In the Month of May 2010, I got my complain No.0003030057, and my complain was rejected due to over due of FREE LOOK period.

    In this regard i am mentally harassed, and I need my money back. So Please do the needfull.
