    Dear Sir,

    I had subscribed a Birla Sun Life Insurance Policy (POL 002896811, APP
    A23546602) through Birla Sun Life's DSA - "Jumpstart Insurance Consultants
    Private Limited". My annual premium is 12000/-. I had issued a cheque (no
    284725) for 12000/- on 12.05.2009. The cheque was cleared from my account on
    15.05.2009. I had been told that I would receive my policy documents within
    15-20 days. However even after 4.5 months, I have not received my policy
    documents. Birla Sun Life site shows that the policy is in force and policy
    documents have been issued but it does not show the date on which they have
    been issued. In spite of many enquiries from Jumpstart/Birla Sun Life I have
    not received any satisfactory response. They told me that they have made a
    request for Duplicate Policy documents. But I have not received even the
    duplicate policy documents. I have made several enquiries from Birla Sun
    Life Customer Care also but it was of no use. Only vague answers have been
    provided to me by Jumpstart. This is a matter of gross negligence on the
    part of Jumpstart. Sometimes they demand undertaking on plain paper and
    sometimes an indemnity bond on a 200/- stamp paper. They are just making
    pretences. I called Birla Sun Life customer care and they told that Policy
    documents have been received by me. But they haven't. It is the negligence
    either on the part of courier company or jumpstart or Birla Sun Life.

    I request customer forum to register my case and look into the matter. I
    request consumer forum to kindly take a suitable action against Birla Sun
    Life and Jumpstart for the foul play.

    Red face sunlife insurances

    Dear Sir,
    my name Alsam Q from marol want to complaint to your Manager Mr. Rohit form Andheri he has call 3 time frist he call for explaining of life insurance but i said sorry i don't want he started arugment and said what hapen what i asks u and started giving badwords to me on the phone and said do what ever u want to do. you sale your insurance like this to cust if they don't want you will blackmail to customer he don't no to whom he has talk Sir i am also have service centre of Whirlpool Ac and i am sp in my office and i just want to say u that from this statement of my i would u like to take action for him otherwise i want to mail in headoffice of brila so plz solve my problem.

    Default Looting Money form People

    I am holding Birla Sun Life Policy no.000908360 since Feb 2007. I had to pay 3 instalments of Rs.25,000/- yearly which i have completed and have receipts to that effect.


    On 27th March 2010 i submitted the policy surender form along with all the original documents ( HAVE RETAINED RECEIPT OF THE SAME ), So far am not getting my ammount and not receive any intimation for Birla Office.


    I was hospitalized on 1/04/2010 for two weeks. am not followed the status of mine.

    11/04/2010 - i checked my bank account, am not received my policy amount.

    12/04/2010 (Morning) - i checked with customer care (1800 270 7000) they said due to signature mismatch my request was rejected and also they said the intimation letter was sent to my communication address (but am not receive any letter from birla).

    12/04/2010 (Post lunch) - again i check with customer care for my original document for re-apply, they said it was return(despatched) to Branch Office (Adyar Branch, Chennai) on 8th Apr 2010.

    13/04/2010 (Morning) - I spoked with the branch office (Adyar, Chennai), they said didnt received any Doucment from Birla Head Office. and also they asked to get POD Number from Customer Care for further action.

    13/04/2010 (Morning) - I again spoked with the customer care for POD number. that gentlemen said, the delivery details are not updated in status log, so please wait for 3 days i check with Back office and come back.........

    I am surprised that a company like Birla Sun life they dont have SYSTEMS and PROCEDURE, and it clearly shows that their INEFFICENCY, they only interested in GRABBING money from the people not serving the People

    Default Got a cal Investment Plan

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    I got a cal from Birla Sun Life Insurance regarding Investment Plan. Her name is Fathima and i told her at present i want the details of the Plan but iam not interested now to start. I want to know the clear Information so that if it is fine i can take before i compleated this, she disconnected the call. This is not right. If the People said directly "no Not Interested" then disconect the call but when the people needs so that they can think about that why to disconect. If it is done in the same way People will not get interest to take after wards.

    When i revert back the cal "Number Not In Use". Now What shall i do, Needs Information regarding that.
