I have been working in Jamia Hamdard university, New Delhi. My native place Bareli Disstt. Rasisen (M.P.). Last year on 1st August 2011 Near Bareli A bus follen down in Barna River in this Accident 45 persons were killed, unfortunately My only daughter, my wife and my mother in law also died in the accident. My wife was taken 5 LIC policies from Bareli Branch. I approached to claim for the LIC Barnch Bareli, I had been informed that my wife nominate my mother in law she also died in the accident so you should take Succession Certificate from court they had given me a letter for this purpose. Approached to court for Succession Certificate on the basis of LIC Letter , court had issued me Succession Certificate same was submitted to LIC branch Bareli. After some time Branch Informed me that in Succession Certificate only basic amount mentioned hence you have to submit Indemnity of Rs 960000/- on Rs. 250/- stamp paper with notary. I had submitted same in the branch then LIC has given me 5 Lakh rupees. In april 2012 LIC head office sent me a letter mentioning that in Succession Certificate only basic amount is mentioned so you should take Extended Succession Certificate for the Death claim. My objection is that I have taken Succession Certificate on the basis of Letter which had been given by the Branch why they had not mentioned total amount. In this condition what is my fault why i should go again court for seeking Extended Succession Certificate. Plz help
