Place of Purchasing: SSDN Infosolutions, Nehru Place, New Delhi. (The only exclusive authorized HCL store in Nehru Place).

From the very first day the battery of my leaptop was not giving proper backup. After window installation I found that battery backup was hardly 20-30 minutes while on HCL Website they have mentioned 3hrs battery backup. So by the same day I went back to the shopkeeper and complained. They told me that once the product sold from their showroom then they are not responsible for that so the solution of your problem will only be provided by HCL Service center.
Now we come to the HCL Service center, green park, New Delhi. On 12/02/09 I visit the service center and briefed the battery related issue. Then they assured me that we will provide you the new battery. After one week they returned me the leaptop and told me that they have been replaced the battery.
After coming I found that the backup was raised it was now 1 hour instead of 20-30 mins. I called them back and told then they said to me HCL provides 1-1.5 hrs backup only and on website they have mentioned is only for standby mode. After that I went out of the country for six month due to my research work and continuously facing the same problem now its backup was 15 minutes only.
After coming back on 18/08/09 instantly I went to the service center and again brief out the same story and left the leaptop there. On 26/08/09 they called me up and inform me that your leaptop is ready you can collect it. They told me that Previously my system was having 6 sell battery and this time they have replaced that by 12 sell battery so now there is no chance of battery related issues.
But this time when I cheked that I found that my system was not even switching on without plugging. Again I went to them on 27/08/09 and explained the problem.
Then after a series of contacts they said that as the PCB of Motherboard is burnt so they have to change battery and motherboard both for this job they have taken 15 days then called me up and said your leaptop is ready you can collect it.
On 09/09/09 I again collect my leaptop and found same problem. Now my system is in worst condition within six months and I havnt enjoy that even for one day. From the very first day of purchasing this leaptop I am just roaming around this HCL Service center and calling them. They people are trying to make me so that anyhow this one year warranty period will expire and they can charge me the fees. I have purchased my leaptop by my own hard earn money 33650/- for my research work but these people cheats me because of them I am suffering financially and mentally both.
I want to take a legal action against them or a new leaptop because I really get sick of them. Kindly guide me how can I proceed.
