I have a HP Compaq Presario V6211 AU laptop.Its Details:

Warranty Period: FINISHED (approx 4 years back)

Laptop's problem:

Just after 7-8 months of the purchase, I have been facing Wifi problem,It stopped detecting WiFi adapter. I thought it may problem with windows but even after re-installing the OS the problem didnt get solved. After some more months it started showing graphics problem. And now its completely gone. (When I push the on button the blue lights come on displaying the on/off button, the volume, etc. Absolutely no video display on the monitor), battery backup problem has finished long ago. Tried with HP center Chandigarh, but they don't want to provide any solution to the customer. They informed us that they will have to change the Motherboard on chargeable basis and then also wont guarantee it will work for some months even. Also, after going through the intensive search it was confirmed that this model of this particular series has MOTHERBOARD MANUFACTURING DEFECT and this model was withdrawn from the market.

I don't think HP is even bothered about all this.
HP Compaq should very gently contact its customers via email/communication to withdraw this model and provide a proper solution. But they just want to sell the crap in the market and then forget the customer.
