I had purchased an Acer laptop on 25th July 2011. The model is aspire 5750g (serial no. -
LXRAZ01008117436761601). I bought it from M/s VCL InfoTech Pvt. Ltd, G-4 (Ground Floor), Jaina
Tower -1, District Centre, Janak Puri, New Delhi-110058, vide bill no.VCL-0711-115.
After 2-3 months of usage it started showing many software problems like lagging while surfing
internet, slow performance while playing games or while working with photo and video editing
software’s, unexpected restarts while watching videos on you tube or while watching movies,
windows crashes etc.
I had called their support technicians telephonically several times regarding this but as a solution
they always suggested full system format which never solved the issues.
In the month of December 2011 (four months after purchase) touchpad buttons started giving
problems, sometimes they worked and sometimes they didn’t this kept happening for few days until
they finally gave up working at all. When I informed service centre about the problem, the service
centre agent advised me to bring it to them for check up at the mentioned address -

On 8th December 2011, I went to their service centre and showed them the problem, after
diagnosing it they found that problem was in the motherboard and then asked me to leave the
system with them for replacement of motherboard. They asked me to call and check for repair
status after few days. After regular follow up with them, on 17th December 2011 (after 9 days) they
returned the laptop after repairing it.
On 31st December (Saturday) laptop again started giving problems, hence I had to visit their service
centre again, after a quick diagnosis they found that 1 of the 2 ram sticks on my system was faulty,
they replaced the ram on the same day itself and informed me the system is now working ok and I
can take it back home. Later when I came back home, I turned on the laptop and found that display
was very poor and system was showing error message saying "display adapter was not found". On
2nd January 2012 (Monday) I visited their service centre again regarding the same problem, after a
check they concluded that problem was in the newly replaced motherboard and asked for another
replacement. They asked me to leave the laptop with them and call and check after 1 week because
motherboard was not available in their stock, finally after 17 days they replaced the motherboard
and returned the laptop.
After returning home I found that two new problems had started.
(1) Key '0' button on number pad was not working and...
(2) The touchpad scroll was not working (The touchpad driver was not installing and scroll was
not working).
When I informed the service centre, they asked me to come again to solve the issue. I went there
next day and handed the system to them, they fixed the ‘0’ key and the touchpad and handed the
system back to me saying it is working fine now, I took it back home on their assurance.
After coming home the laptop worked fine only for few days, after that the touchpad completely
died and display adapter problem for which motherboard was replaced cropped back up.
Meanwhile I also observed that they mentioned wrong date on customer feedback sheet, they took
17 days for replacing the motherboard but they have mentioned on the sheet that it was given back
to me in 2 days. This is very serious issue. Even more shocking thing which I noticed was that my
hard drive name shown in device properties was a different one than it used to show before the
visit, I suspect that they have replaced my original hard drive for an inferior one.
After informing them about the problem, they are asking me to visit the service centre once again.
I am frustrated and have grown tired of going to the service centre again and again for solution. My
work is suffering a lot and I have wasted huge amount of money in frequent travelling to the service
centre.
In view of the above you are requested to kindly help me in resolving permanent solution as this
system is faulty and need replacement with new one or return my full money as this system is not to
be use properly for long period as compared to other company's laptop. I feel cheated and helpless in
this regard.
Please look into the matter at the earliest, it is still under warranty.
