Dear Sir,
1) I have a purchased HP Pavilion NB DV6-2163 TX laptop from croma, R City, Ghatkopar, Mumbai on 09/06/2010. The lapotop was covered under extended warranty for 2 more years (total 3 years from date of purchase)
2) The system was hanging frequently so I informed Croma extended warranty customer care. They gave me a reference number and I was informed to submit the laptop at service center.
3) I submitted the laptop at Croma service center on 19.12.2011. They informed me that the hard disk needs to be replaced and they will change the CD/DVD writer. The mentioned jobs were carried out and I collected the laptop on 24.12.2011.
4) The laptop worked for 1-2 times and the system was not getting started. I again called up the customer care and they requested me to submit the laptop again. I re-submitted the laptop on 28.12.2011 at R City Ghatkopar. After several follow ups, I received my laptopn back on 09.01.2012. The laptop worked for the single day and again the system was not getting started (same issue)
5) After making several requests to get collected the laptop from my place as the same problem is arising and they are not able to solve, they refused to collect and ultimately i re-submitted the laptop on 14.01.2012.
Till date, they are not able to sort out the issue and moreover now they are telling me that the problem is related to the software of the laptop, which is not covered under the warranty. I need to go to HP service center and get it done after making payment.
When I submitted the laptop for the first time the original operating system was installed, which was removed by them only. From 19.12.2011, I am not having any laptop and just getting harassed by running here and there, doing follow ups. I asked them to provide a laptop in the mean time but they clearly refused. Even when I call the customer care, they inform they will arrange a call back but the call never comes until I follow up for 3-4 times.
Please look into the matter asap
