I purchased an acer aspire 5740g on august 23rd 2010. It cost me 43,990 inr. earlier this year in may 2011 i extended my warranty uptill 23rd august 2013 at the cost of 4000inr.
My laptop suddenly stopped working on 20th october 2011 and i gave it to the acer customer care : Reverse technologies andheri(E), mumbai on 26th october.
they informed me that motherboard has to be replaced and placed an order for it on 26th october itself. now its been 20 days and they keep giving excuses as to not having the part and ordering it from abroad (taiwan). if they do not have a replacement motherboard in india then should i not be entitled to a replacement laptop? why should i wait 25 days just to replace a part which they have claimed they don't have with them?

i would really like to file a case against the acer customer service. please help me on the procedure and people facing similar problems or who have faced earlier could also please lend some suppport.
