Sir,
Recently my laptop was facing some display problems. I took it to an authorized HP Service center. Details of the service center are as follows:
EXCELLENT TECHNOLOGIES MEERUT
When I gave my laptop to them everything except display was working fine. They told me there was some problem with PCB of graphics card and gave me a quotation of Rs. 5000. Being the authorized HP Center I told them to do it. Later when they returned the laptop display was working fine but the touch buttons and fingerprint sensor stopped working. I told them that everything was working fine when I gave it. To this they replied that some cable has short for touch buttons (I can't see that problem coming up suddenly) and for fingerprint sensor they said its some software fault. I then formatted my laptop but no luck.
After around two weeks the same display problem came up again. So I took it again and told them about the fingerprint sensor problem too. To this they said its not their fault and the guy simply laughed.
I own a HP dv6516tx with Windows 7 Ultimate. I was using Digital Persona Fingerprint Driver for Fingerprint Sensor and it was working fine. The guy said fingerprint sensor doesn't work on Windows 7. He was such a fool as same is working with Dell laptops and HP laptops.
Please tell me what action can I take against them?
Even if I can't people reading this please beware of Authorized HP centers. HP gives the authorization without checking the technical know-how of the person responsible. Next time when you visit one be ready to be laughed at and get ripped of your money. AUTHORIZED HP CENTERS ARE GOOD FOR NOTHING
See for yourself the laziness of HP guys, if this message is not replied.
