    Default Bad response from hp laptop showroom.

    Dear sir,
    I m Manish Rajora from Jodhpur ,Rajasthan,India.on 21 st October i purchased hp pavallion dv6-6116tx notebook of Rs 39,000/- and at that time it was with offer of Nokia C2-02 ,but the shopkeeper commited he will give the mobile after few days as it was not available to him at that time.Now he is not on his words and saying i cannot give u mobile . I want to ask Hp managing director that is this the image of hp ,such a big company not responding to the customers.

    Angry HP display problem

    Dear Sir,

    I have purchased my HP DV 6- 6018tx pavilion laptop on 25th Oct 2011. Within 15 dfays of purchase laptop display is having problem. Colours have scattered and display is blurred. I have complaint to the HP service center but they are wasting time by asking snapshots and photos of the display. I have already provided all the photos they asked but still there is no action from there side. Even they are no calling and telling the status. And its very difficult to call them again and again because waiting time is also long on customer care line. My case Id is - 4666222514. I have logged complaint on 8th. Please advice what should i do??

    Exclamation notebook not working properly..

    i bought hp dv6-6119tx on 12th nov 2011 , on that day a message was shown in blue display that drive crash and it was shutdown.and later it was not working even it didnot start.and on the next day it started but it was slow and it stop working time to time.i give to the retailer from where i bought,he recover notebook but it again working slow..

    Default Keyboard problem and system very slow

    Respected Sir;

    I bought HP G42 478 TX laptop six months back from Croma store in Marathahalli.Just after 3 months ,the laptop started showing a variety of issues.
    The major issues that are still persisting are
    a.Overheating of the system which results in Thermal Shutdown quite frequently(approximately twice per hour or more than that[U])

    Remedies Done
    I contacted the customer care a number of times and after a number of calls a service person came in and told me that the issue was because of a defective fan and he replaced it with a new fan.STILL THE ISSUE IS NOT RESOLVED and the system gets overheated time and again.

    b.Even though the system has a RAM of 3GB,with an intel i3 processor and a clock speed of 2.40 GHZ,the system is very slow and does not reflect the
    performance as expected from the above configuration.For example,the sytem goes hang even with a single application on( eg Firefox) or without any application at all.
    The system performace crosses 95% many times,even when no application is on.

    Remedies Done
    For this issue also ,we contacted the customer care and even after our repeated requests to service the laptop,the HP authorities has shown utter negligence in even giving a call back .We have enough screenshots and proofs that can validate our claims that the system does not match upto the speeds and performance as per the configuration. We tried using open source operating system as well as Windows 7 to check for any problem with the Operating system but was met with the same disastrous result.The attack of a trojan or virus also can be totally ruled out because the system has been formatted and reinstalled a number of times.

    c.The serviceman sent by HP did a pathetic service on the laptop and now the keyboard of the laptop is distorted and keys are either bulging out or are located deep inside from the normal level of the keyboard.


    We have raised many complaints to the call centre, and to their manager

    Eventhough cases are registered, virtually no action are taken upon them. They never turn up on the specified time, and it has been almost one month since I raised these issues with HP. I feel cheated and totally neglected by HP and I feel that I am entitled to recieve my cash back for this defective product and also adequate compensation from HP.Please give me your suggestions.

    Dear Sir,

    I have purchased dv2000 Hp pavilion model on 21st July,2008 from sparx service center in jamshedpur,with nvidia graphics installed in it.Since then the HP company was aware of the fact that there was problem with the nvidia graphics but it did not took any action and because of their fault after installing the Quick heal antivirus in July,2011, i am unable to open the laptop in which there is no fault of mine.
    Please do the needful for it by replacing my laptop with new as there is no fault of mine.
    Please revert back to me with your opinion at priyadarshiniroy.roy@gmail.com.
    Please suggest ur opinion in this case so that I move ahead to court for further processing. Also I'll escalate this mail to all my knowns and collegues now so that all are aware of your BRAND NAME REALITIES.

    This is my second letter regarding the problems faced by the laptop.
    Under the case no 4668151732, the engineer visited and replaced the motherboard.
    But the issue faced by the laptop, prominently the overheating issue continues. An engineer from SIMTECH, SAKINAKA, MUMBAI visited and after checking the whole laptop was of the view that the thermal module needs to be changed.
    Repeatedly I am facing problems within warranty period and can not take any further chance with the laptop. As you can see it is highly inconveniencing us and is affecting our daily official work. If the thermal module of the laptop is defunct, it will lead to improper running of other parts in the laptop and may also leading to burning of the the laptop. Further, it is also a health scare as the overheating issues under the laptop, left part of the touchpad and the severe heating of power adaptor can lead to physical injury. The laptop has being opened so many numbers of times and when put back it leads to some other new problem like after the 1st time it lead to “THERMAL SHUTDOWN OCCURRED” 2nd time it was DAMAGE TO MOTHERBOARD which resulted in “REDDISH OR JUNK DISPLAY” . And many a times the service centre does not get the proper replacement part and gives a different date of visiting which again wastes time for me and my family. Also, there is a different engineer visiting every time which leads to making him know the background of whole case.
    We were given to understand by your service centre that Company will replace the laptop if some defect is detected within 15 days delivery of the Laptop. When the Laptop was delivered to me no such skewed clause in favour of the company was made known to me. It is not only now that I am facing the problems but right from the beginning the overheating has been an issue. It is now that I have got time that I have reported the issue. It is in some way damaging the reputation of HP as a brand.
    Therefore, we want the Product to be Replaced by a New One Within Next week. This may be considered as my last request to the company. If the faulty laptop is not replaced, we will go to the Consumer Forum and Media claiming to address our problem of mental agony, loss of precious official time and work, together with all the five reports given to us by your five engineers who attended the complaints.Yours faithfully,P GhoshMo 8879202360
