I purchased Acer Aspire 4520 Z03 in December 2007 from Mumbai, India. The S/N is LXAHSOCO32740025F52500 and the SNID is 74000971725. The display was not coming. I went to the Acer service centre at Vashi. They told me that there was a problem in motherboard. I wanted to pay for a new motherboard as my laptop was out of warranty.However, they told me that for this particular model the supply of the motherboard as replacement has been discontinued and they asked me to call the helpline. When I called the helpline 1800 11 6677 they gave me Bangalore number 080-30718600. On listening my complaint the Bangalore office asked me to get a complaint no from the call center. Once again I called the call center and they informed me that they cannot give any complaint no for the laptop out of warranty. They gave me email ID acer.cc@intarvo.com for further help. I have sent several emails but so far no reply
I think, Acer cannot deny support to a laptop which was purchased just three and half years back. Kindly help.
