    Default Regarding the Delay in Repair of my Acer Netbook (under warranty)

    Hello,

    I have locked one concern on July 07, 2011 regarding my Acer Netbook getting automatically restarted (ref : 071311/305) again and again. A concerned person visited me on the very same evening and said that there is some problem in the motherboard which needs to be replaced now. And as my Netbook was under warranty till July 17, 2011, there will be no absolute charges for replacement and TAT provided was 7 days.

    Now, I made a call today to their toll free number and had a word with End to End Division who confirmed me that the required motherboard is out of stock in Bangalore H.O. and the motherboard will come from the other Head Office (outside India)

    I had been using a borrowed laptop from the last three weeks and my official work is totally stuck due to their negligence. I mailed to Mona Shinde (acer.cc@intarvo.com) on August 1, 2011 to "Do the needful in 2-3 days (as I have to return the borrowed laptop) or else simply replace my Netbook with a new one. I do not have more time to give you people". Till date I have not received the required part or replacement laptop.

    The automated reply came that "

    Dear Sundeep
    Thank you for writing us
    We really regret for the inconvenience, however the same has been forwarded to the concerned dept & will resolve the issue up to your satisfaction

    I again emailed to Mona Shinde on August 08,2011 that "

    I have not been contacted by anyone of you and I have not yet received any support from your side. I am suffering because of your negligence and you people have just sent an 'automated' prototype email saying that concerned department is working on it.

    "I had been using a borrowed laptop from the last two weeks and my official work is totally stuck due to your negligence. Do the needful till Monday morning (as I have returned the borrowed laptop) or else simply replace my Netbook with a new one. I do not have more time to give you people."

    Have I made myself clear now?

    And Again received an automated SECOND response "

    We really regret for the delay. As per feedback department shared issue is still under processing. However if we get any update on the same will be reverted on priority.

    I am not satisfied with their response and i need effective service rather than "FALSE PROMISES". Please advise me how can I take further action on these people.

    I'm having the same issue with motherboard to be replaced for my aspire laptop which is under warranty. they say they've to deliver the part from taiwan. if they wanted to do that then they should've done it 20 days ago and not now when i'm threatening to sue them. did you get your motherboard replaced??
