I purchased laptop in year 2007 Compaq Presario v6000AU series, this set started giving me problems in one month only .I called there Customer service to get a solution, but got no good response.Now that situation has worsened my laptop does not even boots and starts. When i enquired about this from my friend ,he did some research and told me this that product i purchased is listed in the defective pieces list. On getting this information i went to HP service centre .I told them about the issue ,but they said that this will cost Rs 15045.39 /-now to get it fixed. Me been a consumer should have been told / informed about the same ,but I was never informed about this.On getting this information that this is a defective piece which is also listed by the company on their website ( Product # RZ897PA),when I approached there center,I got no help .I would like to appeal to get this thing replaced / changed & also would like to compensated for the mental agony I faced during all this as a consumer.
I purchased this laptop to use it for household use.I purchased this because of the availability of the wifi- service in this computer. I got MTNL wifi Broad band(Worth Rs 1500) connection speacially installed so that I could use this in my house as a wireless device ,But this has not even worked for one day,so me been a layman in terms of technology used it using wired connection in my room .Because of this I have missed out on several important project that I wanted to do using this device for my official use.
I would like to compensated as Firstly by replaced of the defected product. secondly for the mental agony / harassment /ambrasment that i have suffered during all this time because of this . Thirdly,I would like to rembirused for all the extra expenses which i have incured on this since its purchase like petrol for visting serice centre,my phone bill which i have used to get the techniqual support to get this fixed which never did..
