This is Ashish from Delhi. I bought a Dell inspiron 1525 nearly 2 years and 11 months back with complete cover warranty.

On 3rd of Feb 2011, I logged a call with Dell Support for issue with my Laptop LCD Screen.
The same was replaced but i noticed that after the service was done, my laptop's battery charging unit wasn't functioning and called dell support again. Logged a call on same day and I was promised that the motherboard will be replaced which actually happened on 8th Feb 2011 @ 4.30 PM.

Same evening around 9-10 PM, I switched off the laptop. When I turned on the same on next morning, the laptop was dead again and after calling Dell Support, they informed me that the motherboard is dead and need to be replaced. We don't have part available and it will come from Malaysia and the same will be fixed by monday or tuesday i.e 14-15th Feb 2011.

Till date am chasing all the Dell Service Providers (CMS & WIPRO) and Dell Customer Support along with the lady from Dell Smitha Kumar (smitha.kumar@oracle.com) who was working on my case.
Every single day, i am given false promises. I am loosing warranty for my laptop by every single day since 3rd Feb 2011 and not able to use my laptop after logging call with Dell.

Just because of this, I am not able to get in touch with anyone over emails or social network. Even i am not able to access my work emails. Without accessibility to office mails or network from home, I might loose my job too.

I really feel cheated and personally/officially, i would not recommend anyone going for a dell machine.

I would like to register a complaint in Consume Court and seek justice.
