I am facing the same problem . purchased a dell studio 14 1 week ago and its DVD drive in not functional and i had to stay on customer care phone line for 15 - 20 mins two times ending up with a disconnected call from dell technical support like we cannot do anything against them since a call back will take 15 more mins

On the other hand i got repeated calls while i filled form to purchase the laptop. If i said 5 mins the dell care use to call every 4 min and 59th sec . Where is the service now ?

I am too having problems with Dell Studio 15, MDB failures, AC adapter failures etc for 10 days old brand new laptop. After 3 repairs from different dell service providers, I have asked them to replace my laptop (to get the customer service and tech support, it will take 1-2 hrs)..

i purchased a dell studio 14 from dealer k.c. computers in Ludhiana/punjab on 29 aug 2009. I worked fine for 15 days than started giving problems and than once screen lapsed on 24 sep, 2009. i have launched a complaint regarding that and they provide me online assistance after half an hour of wait. than finally launched my complaint regarding the hardware problem and assure me to replace hardware part on Tuesday evening.. i just want to ask that why my new laptop mother lapsed with in 20 days of purchase of laptop.. and can i claim the company for a new system to replace me the product beacuse the repaired one also create problem in near future.. please guide me on that...
