Over the period of an year or so, I have heard so many complains about Dell (and of course a sufferer myself). It seems that it is not worth investing in Dell laptops anymore.
Forums are full of complains that include:
1. Delays in delivery of laptop.
2. Delays in replacement.
3. Dell customer care/ replacement team/ tech support team being impolite.
4. Dell customer care/ replacement team/ tech support team being unresponsive.
5. Dell customer care/ replacement team/ tech support team giving wrong commitments.
6. Complains about service; they seem to have forgotten the concept of "Next Business Day".

But i see that people are just complaining on consumer forums. The point is that when people purchase a new laptop, they generally tend to find the reviews, etc and that often lands them on Dell's forum.
In my opinion, people should complain about their problems on Dell forums too. I am sure Dell would want to keep its own forum clean of consumer complains and hence try to resolve them soon.
Other interesting thing to note is that I have almost never seen a Dell customer care executive coming on forums and saying.. "Hello Sir/ Madam, We have noted your problem and trying to work towards it..."
It seems that they are simply not bothered about the complains made against them.
