    Default complaint for dell laptop

    Dear Sir,

    This is to bring to your notice that I(Ekansh Chaturvedi) had bought a
    laptop of dell model - Vostro(dk 96 2bs) with a three year complete cover
    warranty.after few months of purchase I found many problem including
    breakage with the hardware.i called to customer care and complaint to
    them .even
    after the repeated reminder they didnt noticed to it.once the dell costumer
    visited our collage and i reported him my problem and he assured me to have
    it done within 3 days but now its over 15 days and no reply from their
    behalf.
    Please give your kind attention to my complaint and guide me trough the
    procedure.

    Default Dell Complaint

    I have also called Dell many a times and the customer care did not respond to
    us.....I am fed up of dell customer care.....I am receiving a bluescreen error on my
    Dell Studio 15 laptop and its going to be about 1 month and tried whatever dell told
    me to do but i receive the same error again and again and the error code is
    0x0000000A. One of the Dell Technicians had come and changed the hard disk and
    optical drive for the same problem but of no use.....Still the same problem
    comes.......I am fed up with Dell as their service is hopeless......My complaint no.
    is 2411044.

    Default Cheap quality laptop sold at exorbitant price

    I have a dell inspiron laptop servive tag no.76dv2bs i had asked for replacement just 2 months after i purchased the laptop
    i am facing problems with the laptop from beginning
    most of the parts have been replaced or is not functioning properly and the os crashes every month
    i am unable to use the laptop.there is huge data loss to our company thrice in 10 months.i cannot rely on this laptop for my business use now hence it is of no use for me.
    I want a replacement of this laptop(no compromise) as it is faulty at
    your earliest
    i am really upset buying this laptop!!!
    Dell officials are not replacing the laptop
    in 10 months parts worth rs.20000 or higher has been replaced and i hardly got any time to use the laptos because it was faulty most of the time
    now the warranty will expire in two months then who will pay for parts
    this laptop has been continiously giving problems
    there has been huge business loss due to hardware failure

    Hey everybody,

    a couple of months ago i bought a dell laptop(dell studio 15) for my birthday.On arrival immediately, the computer was faulty!!!the dreaded black screen.MY WORST FEARS HAD MATERIALIZED! Not only This, But when i rang up and discussed the issue i was told to update the driver.Guess what it was still faulty!After Countless hours discussing my issues with the dell tech team, there only solution was to continuously update my driver. This continued for three days,When i should've been in college.When i rang them on the fifth occassion they finally agreed with me that it was the hardware that was faulty.
    After all the hassle, they finally agreed to Repair my laptop, Thank god i thought to myself.

    However, when i received my so called "Repaired laptop", i wasnt even able to start-up windows, yeahhhh, the whole Motherboard was obviously faulty.As a result of all the above, i rang up and asked for my money back.

    There response was "We dont give refunds you can either get a replacement or a repair", this continued for ten minutes until i had to demand to talk to the manager.

    This will be the last time i ever purchase from dell again.There tech team send you on a merry-go-round and there repair system is awful. If you ever get a dell and its faulty i wish you all the patience in the world cause you'll need.

    oh and just to conclude this, i have one thing to thank dell for, opening my eyes to mac computers.At least theres some light at the end of the tunnel.

    Hello,

    As you mentioned that the problem is coming again and again, it clearly shows that the particular laptop is faulty and it is irreparable, hence to be changed or the parent company has to refund your money + damages, to claim refund + damages first you have to send a written notice via registered post to the CMD of the DELL, mention all the complaint nos. registered with the DELL customer care, attach photo copy of all the job sheet you have, purchase details, and ask them for the refund + damages as the problem is coming continuously and it is irreparable.

    The following judgment may help you:

    Computer manufacturing defect, major component defective, could not be rectified -- Deficiency in services proved -- Computer used for over one year -- Forum directed to refund 75% of price of computer -- Order upheld in appeal.

    Note: Do not forget to keep the slip of registered post in safe, it will help you if you need to knock the Consumer Forum.

    Hello,
    My friend have a problem about dell laptop , Hope anybody help he
    He have a Dell Inspiron 600m laptop that wont turn on or anything! When you try to power it up there is a green light with what looks like a padlock and a letter A inside it that will blink 9 times and then the light turns off. But meanwhile the fan nor the screen will turn on. Any ideas?!?

    I brought dell laptop on15 dec 2010 with one year warranty. At that time I didn't know about physical damage warranty which is extendable and optional. Now I have physical damage in my laptop. I went to my dealer but he misbehaved. I did complaint on dell customer service but they have not taken any action yet. Even I am not able to get any email address of dell head center.     I have had few engineer visits, still having problem one over the other, Initially was reported a screen issue and the keyboard issue with the hinges not being tight as the previous engineer didnt get the job done properly.

    Was not bothered at that time, but while getting these fixed probably the engineer who comes in could use his screwdriver to just screw few in properly so that the hinges are tightened a bit.

    More worse now is it has gone to an extent that they have changed so many parts in due course of time where the last engineer who came in has confirmed that the previously replaced motherboard is faulty.

    Still don't know how many parts have been replaced ( actually i would call it as robbed ) for no reason and just by assuming that might be faulty.

    Adding insult to the injury got a call back from a rude manager who started to shout at me, abuse me verbally and call me a liar and said he won't trust me. If he can't trust me which means he doesn't trust the engineer, and hence doesn't trust the system and also called dell has a funny policy.

    I can not tolerate someone shouting at me and threatening me that actions will be taken against me for wasting dell's time.

    Absolute rubbish, i want to know the way of complaining this to the customer relations team.

    please advise me accordingly.
