sir i had purchased a hp laptop on 9 feb 2009, a got a philips home theater with that as a gift .it was told that we have to claim it from hp reduption cell on payment of 1499 rs as acheque or draft(delivery charges or handling charges).i had made the payement by cheque .we had asked them abt the date on the cheque they told to put 10 march ,but now after app 2 months they are telling that your cheque has bounced due to insufficient balance but account has enought balance to claimthe cheque.more over if the cheque was returned back due to insufficient balance it would have been in entry of my pass book ,no such entry is there , more over stamp for bonced cheque is also not on the cheque.what has had happened is that they asked to put date for 10 march but claimed the cheque on 26 feb thats why there claim was not cashed now they are saying that your claim has been rejected.now tell whos fault is this and what should i do
