I bought 2 Lenovo Y510s on October 22nd for Rs.96500/-.I selected the particular model because of its 4 speakers and subwoofer.But within 2 weeks i found that the speaker quality was not good.There was a spark like sound from the speakers,very irritating.As I played more and more music it increased.When I took it to the service centre the response was not so good from there.However,I got the DOA(Dead on arrival) certificate from the company so that I could replace my laptop.I had to wait for 1 month to get it replaced.Within a week I experienced the same problem with the replaced one also.I again took it to the service centre.Every time they seemed to be satisfied with the sound quality;they don't seem to find any problem with the speaker quality.Anyway,I once again got the DOA certificate from the company.
Now I experience the same problem with the other laptop that I bought on Oct 22nd.When I took it to the service centre they seem to find no probem with the speakers.They said since it is 2 months from the date of buying I can't get that replaced.But they admit that 'for customer satisfaction' they can replace the speakers.If they don't find any problem why are they ready to replace the speakers?
Some Y 510s given for service(for some other reason) at the service centre too had the same problem.But since the owners didn't use the speakers much,they couldn't recognise it.This was the case with some office going people also.
I bought the laptops to do a project for my final year B-Tech.But because of this replacing issue (wait for about a month) I am not able to do my project.This is affecting my future
I don't want a new laptop.All Y510s that I saw had the same problem.There is no guarantee that the replaced one will work properly.If I take it to the service centre again then maybe they won't be ready to replace it.I want to get my other laptop also replaced.But they are not even admitting the problem.
I don't want this laptop.I want my money back.
Is it possible for me to get my money ( Rs.96500/- ) back?I wasted a lot of money on my phone calls and travelling to service centre and to the dealer.And also I wasted precious 2 months of my project period.
Is it worth going for a case? Please reply

Except speaker problem no other complaints.Poor service from service centre(INGRAM,Trivandrum)
Except for 4.1 speaker other specifications are available for other laptop brands also at a lower price.I bought this only for the speaker configuration.If working in a quiet atmosphere we get irritated by the spark like sound from the speaker.Can you please help me out?
