dear sir,
I purchased ACER ASPIRE 4740 NOTEBOOK WITH SERIAL NO. LXPMH0C0110020174C1061 DT 22-04-10 FROM UR AUTHORISED DEALER COMPUTER VILLA G-1, Agarwal Cyber Plaza,Netaji Subhash Place,PritampuraNew DelhiPincode: 110034
I WAS VERY HAPPY AND REJOICED ABOUT THE NEW LAPTOP, BUT
FROM NEXT DAY ITSELF THERE WERE 2 ISSUES:
1. DELETE KEY WAS OVER SENSITIVE AND RIGHT ARROW KEY DON’T WORK AT ALL. THE SERVICE CENTRE " PERFECT SERVICES 10TH FLOOR ROOTS TOWER, LAXMI NAGAR, DELHI.THEY SAID THAT THEY WILL HAVE TO REPLACE THE KEYBOARD WITH A ENW ONE, AND THE PART WILL ARRIVE IN 2-3DAYS. THERE INVOICE NO. IS 3887 DT 6-5-10.
2. THERE WERE ALSO MANY SCRATCHES FOUND ON THE SCREEN BEZEL(BLACK GLOSSY PANEL AROUND THE LCD), ALSO THE HOLDER OF THE SCREEN ARE LOOSE. WHEN SHOWED IT TO DEALER HE SAID IT MIGHT BE A MANUFACTURING DEFECT AND WOULD BE REPLACED AT SERVICE CENTRE AND THEY WILL RECOMMEND IT TO CHANGE.
BUT THE SERVICE CENTRE " PERFECT SERVICES 10TH FLOOR ROOTS TOWER, LAXMI NAGAR, DELHI. " REFUSED TO HELP IN THE MATTER.
AS A CUSTOMER I WOULDNOT ACCEPT ANY KIND OF DEFECT IN A NEWLY PURCHASED ITEM.
NOW I M IN A BELIEF THAT THEY MIGHT HAVE SOLD ME A DISPLAY UNIT OR A DEFECTED UNIT.
I REQUEST YOU TO KINDLY LOOK INTO THE MATTER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, AND I WISH TO GET A FAVOURABLE RESPONSE.
