I have Purchased my Laptop "Compaq presario V6608AU" on 30th May 2K8 and now I have a problem with DVDRW ROM. it is not working. I took my Laptop to service center and there they said CT ( some identification number of part ) of DVDRW ROM is not matching so I wont be able to get it replaced. I have HP carepach for 3 Years and Still is first Year they are not Replacing it. I dont Know what to do. its only 6-7 Months and this part just gave up and so is HP's service. Ultimatly I m suffering. Now the Case is they are Actually making us to check for everypart of the Laptop before actually buying. Now come-on what is this?

I am feeling Cheated. Would anybody suggest me anything to DO?
