I am facing a very bad experience with my ACER Aspire 4810 laptop.
The keyboard impressions(Space bar is more because the height of space bar is more than the other keys) are came on the screen within one month(Design defect), I approached there service center(M/s. Vaibhav Solutions,Mangalore) and i got very rood reply that "this is normal and we cant do any thing on that".
Now the Hard disk and DVD drive is not working(4months old, DOP 01/09/2009), I given the product for service on 22/01/2010 at M/s. Vaibhav Solutions, Mangalore, and till today i have not got any positive reply from them.
Every time when i call the service center they will say "if we get the spare we can repair your product".
Then I spoke to company persons ( Acer,Bangalore Office on 08040708600) and Ms.Reshma responded to me and she told materials have been dispatched on 25/01/2010. I called her again on 28/01/2010 because still the service center has not got the spare, then she told "sorry material was dispatched on 27th and you will get it on 29th".Today(29/01/2010) i called her, now again the same story "material dispatched on 28th".
They could not able arrange a HDD from last 8days.
I AM VERY MUCH DISAPPOINTED BY PURCHASING ACER
Please have a thought on service when you buy ACER.

I bought acer laptop (acer aspire 4710z) 2 years ago. Company had advertised
that it has inbuilt Bluetooth. In fact, it has provided a quick launch
button to switch on Bluetooth at the left side of the key pad. Whenever I
pressed the button just nothing happens. It took several months to find
customer support number. On one fine day I got it. I called customer care
and they asked me to re-install operating system. I did it, but no change. I
got fed-up by calling them often. I had to hold call for hours together.
Then I realized that number is not toll free. I could not digest the phone
bills. By this time my warranty got terminated. Real bitter fact is that it
has no Bluetooth device built inside. I heard this fact from them when i
recently called their toll free number.
Even in these recent days they (acer) have been deceiving customers about
this Bluetooth feature.
Please stop this deceit. Please.
