    Exclamation Non delivary of lap top ordered with dell india

    I HAVE ORDERED A i5 LAPTOP WITH DELL INDIA. IT WAS PROMISED TO BE DELIVERED ON 15TH OCT 2010. WHEN I CALLED THE DELL - I PREFER TO CALL THEM AS HELL - NO ONE IS GIVING A PROPER ANSWER. AT LAST MR. AMIT MUKERJEE PROMISED TO DELIVER IT BY TUESDAY. SO FOR NO SIGNS OF DELIVERY IS AVAILABLE.

    WHY THESE PEOPLE ARE SPOILING THE NAME OF A GOOD US BASED COMPANY. THEY CAN OPT FOR SOME OTHER NAME LIKE THIEVES OR LOOTER OR BETRAYER.

    SOME STUPID GIRLS ARE SITTING THERE AND KEEPING THE PHONE ON HOLD AND REPLYING IN WAGE AFTER HOLDING FOR MORE THAN 20-25 MINUTES. POLICE CAN'T OR CONSUMER COURTS CAN'T TAKE ACTION?

    Same experience like Mehul and now I know why people hesitate to buy online from dell in India.
    I had an urgent requirement of a laptop before traveling overseas on an official assignment, I unfortunately chose Dell for this. The sales executive went back and forth to confirm teh feasibility and then came back giving me a promise to deliver it on Jan 9-1-11, today is 10-1-11 and have neither the laptop delivered nor even a single word from Dell about its status. I am travelling out in a few hours and have sent more than 10 emails and calls to the sales executive, not a single one of them being responded, though once in between he vaguely said "It has arrived to Blue Dart;s office and shud be delivered in an hour or so..." I notice, there is no limits of lying here!

    You sales executive ahmed_ahtesham_sayed@dell.com who has taken my order is completely ignorant and is intensionally disregarding my follow up communications to him for the only reason that he meanly gave me a false promise of delivering it by Jan 9th and now he either doesn't has a face or the gut to deny it.
    Amidst all the nuiances created around this deal, I find myself in a completely helpless situation when I neither have my laptop delivered, nor my money to buy one from the market and not even a sensible dell executive who can suggest me teh best possible way to get around this mess.
    Can anyone from the hell (dell) please suggest me what the insane is going on!!

    Default dell is the worst ever company to make laptops

    I purchased a dell laptop last year and uptill now i had to change the harddisc twice and battery once.every time i have to copy and keep my backup memory on external memory as never know when the harddisc will be corrupted again.i thik anyone decidig to buy dell laptop should think twice

    Default complaint regarding dell laptop 1558

    Dell Studio 1558
    Problems i faced:
    1. Faulty Parts
    2. Wrong Information

    i purchased dell studio 1558 in October last year..i spent around 44,000 /- on that laptop..but i think it was not worth it because from last October to this October i faced lot of problems with my laptop which is one of the reasons that i don't prefer dell now.
    firstly my hard disk got corrupted along with the malfunctioning of my CD/DVD drive,but i got it replaced by dell because it was under 1 year warranty.
    then i purchased their extended warranty package for 2 yr warranty extension..after 2 months my battery got down,i called up dell and came to know that the battery is not covered under extended warranty.
    they said that its your fault that you didn't asked for the parts which are under warranty.
    so these are the problems i faced and i don't recommend anyone to purchase dell products.

    I am from Dell India Social Media Team and I totally understand how you feel. All Laptop/notebook batteries carry one year of warranty. They are not covered under the extended warranty considering batteries are consumable items and they tend to reduce life due to usage.
