I had bought a hp laptop around two years back. This year, I had lost the adapter, which came with this laptop.
So, I bought a new adapter in june this year from PC-tech computers, Noida.

Few days back, there was some problem with this adapter and it was not charging my laptop.
Since, the adapter was under warranty, I took it to hp service center. I gave them the original bill (with valid TIN no.) and got the issue registered under call ticket no. 300460 dated 21-10-2009.

However, after few days I was told they are not able to replace my adapter because they are not able to procure invoice for adapter from the dealer (from whom, I had bought adapter).

Now, I am stuck, and even after about 20 days there has been no solution to my problem.

As an end customer, I had given the authentic proof of purchase required from my side. Moreover, as far as I know the dealer from whom I had purchased adapter was an authorized hp dealer. So, I should not be bothered with the internal procedures followed by company for providing the warranty service.

I don't know how to approach this problem, The service center from hp, has provided me with some email ids to contact, but there has been no response after repeated mails.

Here are the details of service center, with which my adapter and bill of purchase are:
