To get any solution for your complaint kindly send a complaint letter to the Head Office of the Co. Send it through registered post and keep a copy of that letter also. Hope you will get any positive response from there.

Dear Sir / Madam,
This is regarding the replacement of dell inspirion 1440 model issue Service Tag No-9HNK3BS,request no 57802308339 and order request no - 5485184..
This replacement issue is going on since last three months and there is no proper communication from Dell for the such delays.
Even after continuous folloup with dell finally after 2.5months , new order has been placed and same has been dispatched on 25th Sept 09 (New order no - - 0408324, Blue dart Airway bill No-58100421002)..But since there is issue of form 17docuement , this laptop has put on hold since last 10 days with M/s Blue dart and M/s Blue dart requested Dell for this documents the same but there no communication from Dell to Blue dart and also I had talk with them and answer is same that Blue dart is not ready to dispatch the consignment until and unless dell confirm.
Daily I am keeping the follow with dell customer cares i.e. Ms Rewati / Mr.Dev M/s Moalasa , but everyday I am getting new new stories from them.
I have invested Rs 40000 /-but since last month I could not even used this system. Really I got disappointed with Dell Customer care and there services
Request consumer court to look into matter. and help me to get the my new order.

I too am facing a similar issue with my XPS M 1530, service tag: 13ZJ4G1-dy; although, in my case it has been a little over 1.5 months. They (Dell representatives) do not respond to emails and make us wait hours on end when we call their customer care/technical support helplines.
My laptop stopped working and would not even boot. Dell engineers replaced almost every part and even then the laptop suffers from issues like Blue screen with HDD not found error, mouse right click on just touching the touchpad, etc.
Dell promised me a replacement on 14th Sept and it has come to nothing.
After becoming frustrated with their callous attitude and having taken advise from here, I have sent a letter to their head office by registered post today detailing the issue.
What should be the next step? Please advise.

I am also facing the same issue. I havent used my system for about 3 months now. Initially it was not working for about 1 month and now its now replacement for about months. I am facing the poorest ever service from Dell customer service executives. They never reply to my mails. They never have a answer to my problem. They keep on postponing my delivery giving a different reason everytime
