To get any solution for your complaint kindly send a complaint letter to the Head Office of the Co. Send it through registered post and keep a copy of that letter also. Hope you will get any positive response from there.
I purchased an Acer laptop last month (18th August, to be precise) and on 19th of Sept, I could see nothing on my screen! I called up the customer care and they asked me to take it to the Acer Service Center which I did, and they informed me after a day that the motherboard was faulty! I have had a terrible time trying to contact the service center people, and the only thing they have been telling me is that they have ordered for a new motherboard and it has NOT been delivered to them by Acer. After 5 days, I called up the customer care, and the fellow said that he has no idea as to what the problem is,and all he can do is to inform me as to the current status of my laptop's repair. I asked him whether the new motherboard has been dispatched to the service center, and he said he had no idea. What kind of a support team does Acer have?! It has been a week and I need my laptop urgently.
It has been 1.5 weeks already, and nobody from Acer has contacted me.
Can anyone please suggest a suitable course of action?

I brought my Acer laptop in March 2009, in April 2009 the keyboard came unclipped so I sent it back to Acer to be repaired which they did within 2 weeks, then in October 2009 the same thing happened aagain so once again I contacted them and sent it to them to be repaired but then i received a letter to say that the bezel around the screen was broken and that this was not covered in the warranty and I would have to pay over £100 to get it fixed, I got in contact with them and told them it was the keyboard not the bezel that was broke, they denied this and told me I must have broke the bezel and that I would have to pay to have it fixed. I sent an email explaining all this to what I thought was the Head Office only to receive an email back tell me that my laptop (3 months later) has been sent back to me still broken as I refused to pay for the work. I have asked for the original packaging to be sent so I can check that it wasn't dropped in transit but i'm getting aload of excuses. Please Please help, what can I do.
I bought an Acer Laptop model 5542 on 29/Oct./2009 from one of your authorized dealer-"Acer Mall, Sharda Systems & Services (P) Ltd., Jaipur".
My laptop with S. No. LXPHB0C001940323322000, was operational for couple of days and the hard drive got crashed, as an immediate action I got the complain registered with the customer care and was provided the complain number 012510-215.
The customer care executive in Jaipur attended me and post checking the laptop condition provided me the receipt of getting the hard drive changed, but asked me to wait for few days due to unavailability in Jaipur and a new hard drive to be consigned from Bangalore (per communication from the executive).
On 29th Jan.2010 he changed my hard drive with an old one, which again got crash on 1st Feb.2010, I again approached him he again changed it with an old Hitachi hard drive, which when using the first time I found loads of useless data with full of movies, songs and other customer data. I again approached him same day and again he replaced the hard drive with an old Segat Hard drive which is again not working.
Please could you confirm the statement from an Acer service executive that "Acer Company provides old and used hard drives as a replacement to customers, which are checked and verified."
Hereto, Gone through a lot of harassment, miss-communication, business loss, time loss, data loss, its too much of a customer harassment I have been driven through. Please suggest would I have to reach a consumer court to help me get what I have paid for.
