I have purchased compaq notebook model CQ45 PRESARIO. At the time of purchasing I asked to salesman "Can i install windows xp in my this laptop". He confirmed me to install xp in that laptop. But i could'nt install windows xp in that laptop. I went to service center for further query about it. They told This laptop is for only Windows Vista. Why you purchased this model i you want to work on windows xp. If you installed xp i would not provide service for that OS. then I called to that salesman where i purchased laptop. I told him to change laptop but he not agree for same. He told you can take legal action what i do know please suggest me.
