Hi,
I bought a Compaq laptop( Model no. CQ40-425TU) on 29th Aug 2009 from retailer at Rourkela,After almost 2 weeks the machine stopped working.
I submitted the laptop at the HP authorised service station on 12th Sep'09.2 weeks have passed but they have not rectified the problem yet.
I even talked to the Accounts Manager HP based at Kolkata.The retailer,the service station and that accounts manager kept on refering me to one another.
He also promised me a DOA but i have not yet received even a call from them.They are not even saying how much time they will take to return my laptop.
I have already undergone lot of mental agony and m unable to find any help further.
After two days of all this I got a copy of DOA(defect on arrival)certificate from the service center but the dealer insisted on the original copy and refused to replace my machine.The service center guys said I will get the original copy at my residential address while the man at HP whom I contacted through my dealer (Mr Santosh Mandal),said I will be getting the DOA at service center.So the result is that I have now my one month old not working machine,the copy of DOA and a lot of frustration with me.Herewith I am also providing the contacts that I have touched many times upon
in order to seek help.
